Absolutely love this place. As a repeat customer for a few years now, I have never not had a good time. I mean, if being greeted by Teddy the dog doesn’t make you smile, nothing will. I try to book the Roost when available, can’t beat the view from the hot tub. And the upstairs loft area is really neat....

had a fantastic time. Always do. Staff is amazing! I wouldn't go anywhere else! 11 years and counting! We've started there in 2006...I've been 12 times and I don't even care to look anywhere else! The cabins are sweet...plenty of room...the river is great. We come down earlier and earlier every year because we love it so much!

This place is overpriced. We stayed in a cabin that is to accommodate 10 people. This must be referring to just sleeping. The parking was limited and space on deck hardly sits 10 people. There is no table inside. Limited counter space to prep lunches and dinner. BBQ grill piece was placed in the oven. The oven looked like it...

I wish we had read reviews before booking this "resort". We paid for a site for 25 people and it was the size of a postage stamp, covered in large rocks you could barely walk across. We were literally one foot on both sides of our "site" from other people's tents. Our site could fit no more than 5 tentsThis...

I'm going to save everyone some time here and just say all the reviews on here with 1 star are 100% accurate. There is seriously something wrong with the owners of this POS to allow their names to be associated with this level of filth, incompetant and disrespectful customer service, and fraud. Im WARNING others especially with children to consider...

This place is terrible. We reserved a cabin and float trip for the weekend and upon arriving were told our cabin had storm damage so we'd have to stay at a more "primitive" cabin or could get a refund. The lady working there, who couldn't even put out her cigarette to talk to us, showed us this cabin that looked...

I guess you could say we where lucky to stay in a cabin because the cinder block buildings looked like a prison that should be shut down so I can only imagine they where worse then our place. Anyway our cabin was absolutely gross, the fridge was broke, mold in the bathroom, questionable air conditioner, broken chairs that looked 30...

We went tubing and the experience was good. I will say that Bird's Nest charges prices higher than most tubing companies in the area (or anywhere), so beware that you can rent from many other places for less. Tubes shouldn't be more than $15/person. Note, though, that you can bring your own tube and pay only $10 for transport. I...

We stayed at the Birds Nest Lodge for two nights - July 31 and August 1. There were five of us families total, 19 people total including 9 kids. Four families tent camped and one family had a camper. I always rate the places I visit on various aspects. In summary, this was the single worst camping resort I've ever...

This place worse than terrible. Don't let the pictures fool you - they obviously don't clean these cabins. The smell was unbelievable!!! I don't expect much when I rent a cabin. But, I sat on the couch and the waft of awfulness made me sick. I won't even get into how nasty the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were. When we...
