Maybe we will have better luck next time. Our room wasn’t very clean. Someone’s dirty panties were left behind. There was pee on the toilet seat and the shower was very scummy and moldy. Not what you would expect....
We thought from the pictures that the room would be spacious and clean. We had a suite, which wasn’t very big nor was it the cleanest. The staff was friendly, but they could do a better job on cleaning the rooms.
The hotel was very clean and updated, and it is located in a very nice area with a Plant Fitness, several restaurants and shops, and a gas station - all very nice and convenient. The only thing missing was the usual coffee cups (plenty of sleeves and coffee pods, but no cups), and my travel mug doesn’t even come close to fitting under that tiny coffee maker.
The young woman at the front desk was very friendly, professional and helpful. She determined the best rate available for our stay. (Our stay was during the corona virus pandemic,) Masks were worn by employees; there was plexiglass at the front desk, and between the employee serving breakfast and the guests. Our room and bathroom were clean. The shower was spacious, and had strong water flow. II would rate the service 5 of 5. The hotel was about a 3 1/2 -4 out of 5. The lower rating was based on the noise. We could hear trucks in the parking lot, and guests in the hallway.
This is the worst Hamptons Inn we have ever stayed in. Outside looks amazing. The bath had black mold all in the shower. The shower door wouldn’t even stay closed. They put us in a handicap room which we didn’t request. I really didn’t even want to shower in this bathroom. This will be our first and last stay here. As silver members We were amazed they would let it get in this shape. Clean up or close up.
