This is a historic hotel in a scenic national park but it badly needs the rehab work which is ongoing. Most people who prefer modern amenities, including modern plumbing and HVAC, will realize that it is not currently at Many Glacier. Still, the park is great and the hotel is convenient.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September, two nights in standard room and one night in lakeside view room. I was able to get these reservations only about a month in advance by looking for individual nights constantly across all the hotels in the park until someone must have cancelled. The best thing about the hotel is the location. The... More

For all we wanted to do, I cannot imagine a better location than Many Glacier Hotel. I am sorry the hotel is under reconstruction only because I would have LOVED to see the lobby area, public spaces, etc. It's a beautiful hotel, even with the remodeling going on. And, they have the hardest working staff who work very hard to... More

If at first you don't succeed to book a room here, try try again!!!! Most people make reservations a year in advance, but we were lucky by trying again. We got a reservation just a couple months in advance because someone cancelled. Half the hotel was remodeled a couple years ago and the other half is currently under going renovation.... More

If you want to explore the northeast section of Glacier National Park, this hotel does have the best location. The road going into this section of the park is in need of resurfacing; lots of potholes. Although the Many Glacier Hotel is going through renovations, they do have one restaurant and lounge open to service the guests that are staying... More

Clean and nice. Incrediable setting. Food is almost awful. Boat trip leave in front. Kayaks and canoes for rent. Hiking trAils are awesome. It is bear country so you have a good chance of seeing one. Lots of tracks and scat. They have been eating their way through the forest. Breathtaking mountain lakes. Pristine forests. Hiking Glacier is a spiritual... More

The beds and frames are old. The head-end of our bed frame collapsed in the middle of the night! They could not move us to another room, and they didn't have a replacement bed frame. Their first attempt to fix it didn't solve it, so I made them try again. They ended up putting a pipe under the bed platform... More

When we started planning our trip to Glacier, we knew we had to stay at least one night in Many Glacier, because you know, it's MANY GLACIER right? Knew going in that the renovation was in full swing and this did not bother us in the least. After many, many visits to the booking site we finally got the room... More

We paid extra to have a room on the lakeside. The room was very nice (of course it was our first room after several days backpacking, so perspective . . .). Love the hot shower, comfy bed. Room is updated with several electrical outlets, clean, well maintained. It seemed quiet and cozy, small heater in the room and bathroom. The... More

I know that this hotel is "historic" and has a very remote location, etc., etc., but this type of hotel is not for me. Before I get to my review, I will say that I am glad I had this experience, but I wouldn't want to stay here again. Getting here: This hotel is in the East Glacier area, and... More
