This was a great location, but a bit rustic. Rangers were not letting cars into the area without hotel reservations, so we felt lucky we had found a reservation for 1 night there. Negative was that we had a mouse in our room, which was near the dining area. But it was worth it to

Traveling to Glacier National Park in June, I maybe was expecting too much sunshine or at least hoping for more. The first two nights in the park were spent at St. Mary's where sunshine was a plenty. But then we got to Many Glacier. The day started out sunny and we hiked to Crack

The Many Glacier hotel is an amazing combination of history and scenery. The view in every direction is jaw dropping. The restaurants in the hotel are great (the appetizers in the lounge were phenomenal). And the hotel is in amazing shape for a hotel over 100 years old. Wow!

We were lucky to reserve a lake view room on the beautiful lake front. Unfortunately the double size room came with the smallest double bed ever. Fortunately, they had a beautiful king size lake view room available for only a small fortune more. But with a view this sublime we

My husband and I are definitely budget travelers, who don't like to spend over $100 on lodging, but due to our need to catch the 8:30 boat for the Grinnell Glacier hike, we decided to splurge. We booked late, so there was one room left-an ADA value room for $207.

The room its

How is balcony "shared"? Is there a divide on the balcony between 2 rooms? Can your neighbor peek into your room? Thanks.
The blinds cover the windows pretty well, peaking would be tough. No divide on the balcony. Most people who stay here will are pretty respectful of privacy and worn out after hiking all day.

Do family rooms have the option for balcony/Lakeview? Or are they all in the interior?
As one of the prior answers states, they do not have balconies, but the entire area is so breathtaking, it really does not matter. Do also be sure to book in advance. The lodges fill up long in advance.

Hi, I was stoked to get a reservation for this coming July (peak season). However, after reading TA & Yelp reviews, a few prior guest mentioned having mice in their room or seeing mice in the restaurant. For $300/nt, this seems unacceptable, even for a historic hotel. Has anyone who stayed recently experienced rodents in the mice in their guestrooms??
We had mice in our room and saw them running around the restaurant! Unacceptable! And they don't seem to care. The customer service at this hotel was sub-par, but I must say the view from our room was beautiful. So if you want a beautiful view in a historical hotel and don't mind mice running around, this is the hotel for you!

If you are staying at Many Glacier Hotel, do you still have to pay an entrance fee for Glacier National Park?
Yes you still have to pay unless you can get in free with a national park senior pass.

"Some areas of rooms do not have an elevator, so be aware if you are on an upper floor."
"Lake views for Many Glacier and East Glacier are best but it almost does not matter as you spend most of your time in the lobby or outside."
