Since we had a good deal for this place ($150 for a room) I consider this place as OK, but if I would have paid the regular price of around twice as much then the review would be way worse. The entrance to the hotel looks stunning, so is the reception desk. But as soon as you start looking at...

Very friendly, helpful and approachable staff. I must admit I did little research about the hotel as it was at discounted rates for a conference. The good: staff, clean, good location, good wifi. The lacklustre: small kitchenette with limited appliances - only a tiny fridge and a drip coffee machine that had no carafe, but this wasn't a problem as...

I was in Big Sky earlier in July for a business meeting, and stayed at the Huntley Lodge. Squeaky floors. Thin walls. No air conditioning (but there is a 12" oscillating fan.) A/C is not needed most of the time, but room can be very hot on a sunny day in the summer. Although the room and the lodge in...

We are disappointed to hear that we did not exceed your expectations during your recent stay at the Huntley Lodge. Please know that we are addressing the housekeeping issues. The Huntley Lodge is historic, located in a mountain climate and does not have the comfort of modern air conditioning. We appreciate your suggestion to have conference/speaker phones available for guests,...

Lobby and staff are incredible. Rooms, not so much. We had a 3 queen loft suite, so our family of six could all sleep in a bed. The fanciness of the hotel stopped the second the cowboy bellhop opened the door to the room. Carpet was pulling up in a weird spot so that you were constantly tripping over it,...

This place is dirty, they clean only the basic stuff, do not look under the bed or behind the night stands. The place has no air conditioning and overall, everything is very outdated. We had a coffee spill on the floor when we arrived. Nobody cleaned it for 5 days. The room is hot on the third floor, try to...

Maid service is terrible; I walked into my room with the bed sloppily made. The maid did not restock the shower amenities, and I had to request them from the concierge. The bedsheets had suspicious stains on them (dark purple and red stains). The maid also did not pick up the dirty towels that we had left on the floor....

Like other reviews said, it can be loud in the room. You can definitely hear other people talking in the hall, taking showers. But overall, the front desk is nice and welcome. Room is clean with all the necessary stuff. TV with good channels, yes, espn for the World Cup !! As a heavy sleeper, I think the place is...

If you were coming for the mountain itself or proximity to the ski lifts or hiking trails around the ski areas, this is in a great location. The rooms were large and clean, though a bit dated, and the staff was very professional and thoughtful throughout my three-day stay. The beds were large and comfortable, as well. The biggest complaint...

Just returned from 4 night stay at the Huntley Lodge in Big Sky,Montana. We had never been to Montana before and we were not disappointed. Wonderful place, gorgeous scenery, plenty of nice restaurants and every place was staffed with young energetic staff that were helpful and eager to please. We took tram to the top of Lone Peak Mountain which...

This hotel is in an incredibly scenic area. The rooms are large, with a small table and a little kitchenette area with a fridge, coffee maker, and sink. The room and the bathroom are impeccably clean. Upon check in we received a call to see how our room was, and if we needed anything. The staff is incredibly attentive. The...

Conveniently located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this three-story hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. It is as tasteful as it is convenient: the Explorer Lift is just out the back door. Under the same roof are concierge, dining, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and spa.
