Wow what an excellent stay. The husband and wife hosts are fantastic people, friendly and very knowledgable about the area especially Glacier National Park. The home cooked breakfasts every morning were very good. It's a nice hidden gem and our family was very glad that we could get accommodations on a busy 4th of July

We thoroughly appreciated the quiet, picturesque location of SBR, which was about 20 or 30 minutes from the west side of Glacier National Park. The owners were friendly and available to answer questions. They even packed us a to-go breakfast for a morning when we had to leave the house early. Our room was very clean, with plenty of room...

It is a super cool vintage style hotel about 20 min away from the Glacier park west entrance. The host couple lives in the same house, and cater to everything you ask for: detailed information of the park and surrounding area; safety suggestions (they also loan bear spray, you don't have to pay for it if you don't use it);...

I had wanted to stay on both sides of the park so we could see different parts of the park. That worked in theory but we were already traveling on the west side of the park even while staying on the east side. None the less we arrived at the Ranch just after check in time and Scott greeted us....

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely 2 nights at Smoky Bear Ranch last July. Frankly, it was the only place with 2 nights available on short notice near Glacier National Park and we didn't expect much. Happily, we could not have selected a more beautiful or serene place! The owners are real, hardworking, Montana stalwarts who keep the place...

Scott and Nancy were wonderful hosts in this idyllic off the road location that is a fairly short drive to/from the West Side entrance of Glacier National Park. Our room was in the main house, and it was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Nancy's quilting expertise is amazing, and the handmade quilt on our bed was simply fabulous. We stayed...

Such a great find for us. We stayed here for 3 nights sharing the loft in Little Grizzly cabin with our adult daughters just like being on school camp! The cabin was extremely clean & cozy for 4 adults, but perfect for us. Scott gave us good directions to Glacier National Park & provided us with the use of a...

Making reservations online from several states away can sometimes leave you with a bad experience. . . not this time! Smoky Bear Ranch was one of the most beautiful and spotlessly clean places we've ever stayed! Nancy and Scott cook the most amazing breakfasts with homemade cinnamon rolls and 4 pancake syrups including the delicious huckleberry, which we brought home...

After a very long drive we were looking forward to a peaceful stay at the ranch. I purchased our lodging on Expedia where it said 1 child to our room (later I realized it says minimum age 12) I should have read more detail, but I just saw the 1-child to room. When we arrived and I mentioned we have...

We ended up booking this place outside Columbia Falls and that was fairly close to Glacier National Park. It was a pleasant surprise, we stayed in one of the rooms in the main lodge. Scott and Nancy were both friendly and helpful in determining what to see in Glacier. The morning breakfast(s) were both fanastic and unique. We stayed an...
