Stayed at Skyline before driving the Beartooth Highway. It is not your typical B&B. Liz, the innkeeper was helpful in recommending somewhere to eat dinner in Cooke City (Beartooth Cafe) but other than that offered little information on anything else. They do offer horse back riding and fishing trips but none of this was mentioned. Her grandchildren were present outside...

This is a nice little B&B (Guest ranch really) outside of Cooke City, MT which is close to the NE Yellowstone entrance. Log building with very western decor...nicely done and it fits the mountain/western setting. Our room was basic with private bath, but very adequate. Kind of noisy....the front desk phone woke us up several times during the night. Breakfast...

I try to be guided by the idea of, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all," but in the case of travel reviews sourced by people for decision-making and travel planning, I'm going to have bend the rules here a bit. I simply do not understand all of these 5-star reviews and need to concur that...

I'm feeling gut-punched, yet, I appreciate constructive criticism, as it can help us to do a better job. Thank you for reinforcing my request that we get solid wooden bases under all the beds, and to put the replacement of mattresses in the Beartooth room higher on the improvements priority list. Thank you for helping me to realize that many...

The location was great. It is in Cooke City--about 5 miles outside of Yellowstone. The drive into Yellowstone was beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife in the Lamar Valley. Although we did not have time to enjoy many of the amenities and options to do at the ranch, we could see that it looked like a great place...

Of all the places we stayed during our recent 10 day Western Vacation, the Skyline Guest Ranch was my favorite. Great accommodations, friendly and welcoming staff, quiet and peaceful setting, wonderful breakfast, and a fun morning horse ride. We'll return to this ranch for sure.

I have stayed at a few locations around Cooke City and this is by far the best. Everyone at Skyline was very friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. There are 3 floors of rooms but it is extremely quite and restful. The hot tub on the deck was a great place to relax after a long...

My 10 year old son and I stayed here last fall for a couple of nights. We spent a day on the horseback fly fishing trip in Yellowstone and were incredibly pleased with our decision to try the Skyline Guest Ranch. The room was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our gear, including the boot dryers that were...

Our family LOVES to stay at the Skyline Guest Ranch and we look forward to every stay. There is literally something for everyone from horseback riding with very well trained horses, fishing with or without guides, hiking and enjoying the beauty of nature - all within walking distance of the lodge. The fact that you're only 7 miles from the...

We stayed in the Yellowstone Room which was clean, spacious, and great for a family. Television and games are available in common areas. The owners and staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night. The ranch has many horses and seems to do a lot of horseback rides from one hour through a...

This was a great experience for my family. We stayed only 1 night but both my boys wanted to stay longer. We took a 2 hour horse ride which was a great experience. There were horses all over the place. The service was great and friendly. The accommodations were comfortable My only advice, use real eggs for breakfast. They used...
