We only stayed one night, and wish we had been able to stay another day to ride the trails. Our room had two queen beds and a large bathroom which was very clean and well-appointed. The B&B is a rustic log home. Breakfast was wonderful and our hosts very friendly. Would highly recommend a stay here. Yvette

Skyline Guest ranch is "off the beaten path", but was easy to find. Liz was welcoming and accommodating. - We arrived about 4:30pm with plans for 11 of us (ages 5 - 73) to go on a 1 hour horseback ride. They were laid back and we didn't feel pressured to hurry or anything. The ride was fantastic. This is...

We ended our 10 day trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons with 3 nights at Skyline. That was a fine decision. The inn is spacious, clean, friendly, and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Lamar Valley, where we had some amazing experiences, is a half hour away. The Beartooth Highway is right outside the door and wondrous for a "top of the...

We booked this place late looking for something out of the high prices in Yellowstone, quiet and family run. We got it all. Liz was amazing! So friendly and generous! The log cabin is beautiful and set back In the trees. Rooms really great with everything you need. Breakfast was outstanding, home cooked by Liz. French toast with bacon and...

Our stay was brief; however, it was very pleasant! The room was clean & roomy. The bed was comfortable. The food in the morning was very good. One of the owners, Liz, was extremely friendly & talked to us like we'd been friends forever! She was helpful about local information. We will share our good fortune of staying here with...

Great big log house. Good food. Friendly people. Horses, fishing. We go back every few years to see if it's still fun.( it is!) a tweet can't be over 160 characters and you want me to be at least 200. Seriously, if you want fancy, you are in the wrong state. But clean, comfortable rooms are all you need here.

A lovely comfortable room with everything that we could possibly need. Including shoe driers! Liz & Vic our hosts were very welcoming, and all the staff were very friendly and efficient. The breakfasts were slightly unusual, but well cooked and filling. The packed lunch supplied on our horse riding/fishing day was excellent, & Luke our guide was brilliant. We would...

The log structure was quite nice and our room was large and adequately furnished. Not fancy and the lighting was limited, but it was large and had what we needed. I emailed weeks in advance to ask about area activities or a wildlife guide for the Lamar Valley and didn't get much of a response. When we arrived, we got...

We selected Skyline because we wanted a mountain retreat close to the Park and at the end of the scenic Beartooth Highway. It was just what we wanted. Dinner is right down the road in Cooke City and we saw a black bear and some deer on the way. Breakfast was B & B quality, and a grizzly in the...

Skyline Ranch is a large rustic mountain log cabin (built with re-claimed lumber from a forest fire) with a welcoming, homey bed and breakfast vibe. It’s located close to Yellowstone and the Beartooth Mountain Highway, just outside Cooke City (which is actually a very small town- don’t expect to buy provisions there). Skyline guests can stay one night (as we...
