Over the past several years, we have stayed here either on way out of Yellowstone National Park or to head back to Lamar Valley at sunrise. Comfortable and clean. New management very helpful. Seems a bit of upgrade with new management. Good night's sleep.

I was traveling with a tour group of about 16. The group had reservations and when we arrived at about 10 pm, there was no staff to check us in. Our group leader found some staff in town and they gave us a bunch of keys. Almost all of the rooms were already occupied! Eventually another staff member was located...

Just stayed at this dump on a family vacation, and it easily was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. If it weren't for the fact that my tour required this to be our hotel for two nights I would have never even checked in. The place just looks run down. They didn't have housekeepers come to your room because...

If you are travelling over the Beartooth, there are not a lot of options. This place was modest, clean and the town was about as honest and open as you could hope for. Go there. Stay there. Drive the road with wonder in your mind!

Excellent position just a few minutes from the east entrance to Yellowstone. Rooms are a good size, well equiped and clean but the plumbing was a bit noisy (might be ok in upper floor rooms). Staff were ok but not what you would call friendly. The guy on the desk argued with me when I said I had booked the...

Stayed in apartment with microwave and fridge. Comfortable bed with good quality clean linen. Carpet clean as was bath and working heater. Surprised at the number of poor reviews as my wife and I are seasoned travellers and considered this motel was fine. No wifi or cell connection but is this really necessary !! Friendly staff who readily provided hair...

We stayed one night. There were gnats around, which the hotel keepers cannot help, but some were in the room. There were quilts and matching pillow covers that were rustic and probably nice when they were first put out, but they were dirty enough that neither my wife or I wanted to come into close contact with them. The motel...

We have stayed at The Alpine in Apt. 1A for 17 of the last 20 years - but unless there are some big changes, we will never stay there again. In the past, we have brought our family and recommended the Alpine to our friends. It was always basic but clean. We missed 2013 and 2014 and we can't believe...
