Spent two nights in the Wolf cabin last week and loved it. Very convenient to Glacier National Park and there is a great little grill just down the street. Owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

This hotel is just outside the west entrance of glacier park. Nicely built cabins with front porch. Owner Chuck's suggestions to beat the weekend traffic was great and helpful. No room service but we really enjoyed our stay over there.
This property is just a few minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. I tried to get accommodations for my entire one week stay but was only able to get reservations for one night. Nevertheless, it was a great stay!

We enjoyed the stay the glacier general store.The room had a microwave,fridge,and shower.Chuck the owner gave us many tips for the park and tips outside the park.
The store below was great for picking up food or supplies.

Yes, you can hear trains during the night. They are not that close that it spoils your sleep - particularly if you have done some trekking uring the day. The road is relatively close so, yes, you do hear 18 wheelers/5 axels going by. Again, that did not spoil our night's sleep. Cabins are set back from the road. I believe there are three rooms in the main building. They probably get less noise but would not be as good as a cabin - in my opinion
