The big lobby with awesome poles and evening music playing is welcoming. But the "corner suite" that we paid an extravagant amount of money for, was a little more than a dump. We had a shared balcony, but if we all went out at the same time, there would not have been enough chairs. The tiny, ugly 30s sink had...

Stayed two nights as part of a tour group. This hotel is very rustic - no air conditioning; no tv; limited wifi/internet in lobby; etc. Some in our group had 4 beds in their rooms with no door to the bathroom. Others had 3 beds with a desk that was on wheels and rolled around during the night. You can...

By far, the most disappointing park lodge we have stayed in. We are traveling with two small kids and specifically chose this lodge because it has a swimming pool. Yes, the pool is there, unfortunately it has no water in it and appears to have been abandoned. The location is nice, and our room was plenty big, but rather uninspired.

seriously authentic and no frills but awesome experience! bathrooms are minuscule and decor speaks exactly to what it is, a park lodge. no way can this be considered luxurious but it is clean and thoroughly enjoyable.

The lobby is wonderful. But we were shown to a room that was wretched even by cheap motel standards. The wind blew through the door to the outside so much so that we couldn't stay. We noted to the lobby staff that we were leaving--knowing that we would forfeit our money for the night. But then they tacked on a...

Hi Scot M, I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience at Glacier Park Lodge. Something seems out of place about the $15 fee you were charged. If we had more information we'd be happy to look into it for you as it sounds like an error might have been made on our part. Please give Melissa Baker a call...

I tried to get a reservation for Many Glacier about a year before our trip Aug 2-9th, but there were no reservations available. I "settled" for Glacier Park Lodge. I'm so glad it worked out that way! We visited Many Glacier Hotel several times while in GNP. The setting IS spectacular! And the location for many great hikes can not...

No TV, no phones, no A/c, no wifi, but loved it. The lobby is a sight to remember. Built 80 plus years ago with the real thing...trees and logs. Great mountain views from the various chairs and couches near the windows. Wonderful casual eatery that's usually jammed. The formal dining room has a more upscale menu and higher prices of...

Spent one night here and I must say,the grounds and lobby are beautifull. But beware which floor you are on. We were on the second and heard every bit of noise coming from above. These rooms have hardwood floors and every step above is heard. Washroom is very out dated . The washroom plumbing is in the ceiling and every...

This is the second time we have stayed at the Glacier Lodge in East Glacier. The first time was a couple years ago and the bed was terrible. This time we had high hopes because the rooms seemed to be remodeled. We checked in and the room had a double bed. The room was very small but looked OK. That...

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Though I don't think the hotel was worth the price for the hotel itself, it does have a great location and history. The rooms were clean but of course very rustic having been built in 1913. I was disappointed that the doors had gaps in them so that they didn't close completely-both the...
