Dancing Bears Inn is by far the best place to stay if you are looking for quality sleep and great customer service. We had booked in advance good and its a good thing we did because we stayed here in July right after Independence Day and it was all booked up. John and Sean were extremely helpful with everything. We... More

We have stayed at many places in east glacier, from the big lodge to most of the smaller family run places. Dancing Bears Inn blows them all out of the water, the owner John went above and beyond by helping us plan out our three days. He was knew exactly where to send us and when to to go, so... More

We enjoyed our stay so much we will be back next year for sure. We happened to stop by just to ask directions and ended up staying for a few days. while we were there we were treated like we were the only guests, even though there were some quite rude other guests staying. I don't know how john and... More

this place is full of character. it brough back memories of when i was a kid traveling with my parents to other national parks, we always stayed in smaller privately owner establishments. The wonderful gentleman behind the desk (i think his name was John) was wonderful. He helped us get a tour with a locally run company called Sun Tours,... More

I would not stay here again although we did sleep. The room was very shabby (torn curtains, tiny, thin towels. loud heater, thin walls). The owner was a nice guy and we like to support independent places but there was a lot of deferred maintenance here.

Basic room, nothing fancy, could hear people on both sides thru walls. They have some units that look like duplexes, they might be better. Staff was pleasant. Needed to ask for Ice - icemaker not available to us directly. We could walk to several restaurants.
