I traveled as a solo and have a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and 2 fireplaces in my own cabin. the food was as close to gourmet that would be served on a ranch. Horses were chosen to match the guests abilities and wishes. The scenery could not be bought!

A dude ranch has been on my bucket list....and when I saw MS which has kid-free times and great food, this was the pick. From the food to the service, to the experiences, we had a great time. Lots of horse time, a great trip to Yellowstone, yoga, fly fishing....and plenty of time hanging out in the saloon and meeting... More

This was our first trip to Mountain Sky and we have been to several ranches over the years. Our accommodations were charming and depicted western rustic charm with all the amenities one would want. The staff is very knowledgeable and very attentive from the office staff to the housekeeping. The wranglers are an awesome group of horsemen and women. Very... More

From the minute you arrive until the minute you leave, the staff make you feel like you are the most important person there. (everyone gets the same treatment) They know your name, they know your likes, dislikes. The food is beyond amazing. (I am a bit of a food snob) I will definitely go back to this amazing place. I... If you are a new or seasoned rider, this ranch offers the best of trails for riding horses, or hiking. The lodge provides a rustic place to gather for great food and an opportunity to meet new folks. The staff could not be more accommodating. My experience at Mountain Sky far exceeded my expectations.

We just returned from an AMAZING vacation at Mountain Sky. It was a perfect week! First the location is absolutely beautiful. Every view is gorgeous. Wow! I loved the horseback rides. The trails are beautiful and the views from the rides fabulous. I am not an experienced rider, but the horse assigned to me (after the head wrangler chatted with... More

Fantastic guest ranch where you can rest or be as active as you like. The wranglers were all excellent, helpful, and the rides were tailored to each person's riding abilities. Wildlife was abundant. We saw a bear on every ride, as well as elk, deer , and even a mountain lion. The golf course is incredible and strictly for the... More

There's something magical about Mountain Sky. Whether it's the unflappable attention to guest service, the relaxed and inclusive atmosphere of the guest population, or the 'crisp, casual and comfortable' professionalism of the staff, it seems that magic always happens while we are there. This was our third consecutive year to visit the ranch and we are already looking forward to... More

This was our 7th stay at Mountain Sky. We love the crisp mountain mornings on the veranda, the horseback rides with great and informative wranglers, golf in the valley and fishing for wild cutthroats- The dinning is great. Fantastic programs for children and teens- We are coming back again

My family has been going to Mountain Sky Guest Ranch for almost twenty years. For my children, it is as close to "home" as anything could be. They talk about coming the following year as we are driving down the driveway (called Big Creek) to depart. The ranch has all the elements for an ideal family experience: diverse hiking opportunities... More
