My husband and I stayed at Half-Way Motel for five nights. It is family run. The rooms are extremely clean, and the staff very helpful. The Half-Way Cafe is a good place to grab some food. We are hikers and when asked at the Cafe...More

We stayed down the road, but went to the Half Way's Cafe for dinner two nights in a row. The hosts at the Inn we were staying at recommended the Half Way as a good place for home style cooking. The people running the motel...More
Stayed here on a recent vacation at Glacier. Rooms were nice sized, very clean, and well appointed. Ate dinner at the restaruant and were well satisfied with the meal we had. The owners were very friendly and hospitable.

We had difficulty with the WIFI at the Halfway Hotel. We were able to get better reception at the main hotel. Just realize there are absolutely no amenities at the Halfway. No people around other than guests, no food or groceries closer than 30 minutes away, unless you dine at the main hotel. While the hotel looks like a cabin in the woods, it is more like a bunkhouse motel on the main highway. If your mother has difficulty getting around the room is very small, especially with the futon down (in addition to the bed). The rooms are very clean, but sparse!
