Our family of eight can not wait to return to the ranch each year for our annual vacation. The riding from the ranch was again spectacular with much wildlife sighted including bear and moose. The fishing was the best that we have ever experienced with a Salmon Fly hatch early in the week and consistent fly fishing morning and afternoon....

This place hasn't changed in the 50+ years ago my family discovered it…and that's a good thing! (I went 9 times as a child and this was my 3rd time with my family). Remote enough where kids can wander around without the parents worrying. A place where kids have good old fashioned fun on the merry go round or swings,...

This was our first ranch experience, and it couldn't have been any better. it's a personalized experienced with the ranch being family owned and operated for over half a century. The mountain vistas were simply beautiful. Location is also great for a Yellowstone visit, only 40 miles away. I enjoyed watching my husband letting the inner cowboy come to the...

I was 12 the first time I visited the ranch in 98. I went with my family several years in a row up until college. I remember playing cards with my brother and other teens in the cozy lodge. I went back last week and it was another great week. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. The rides...

We just got back (visited 6/26/16-7/3/16) from our 11th visit to the Nine Quarter Circle and had another great week. While there we enjoyed fantastic riding on the Kelsey family's sure footed, steady Appaloosa horses over beautiful Rocky Mountain terrain in the Yellowstone ecosystem. The cabins are cozy, the food tasty, and the staff friendly and helpful. Besides the riding,...

I attended the Montana Cowgirl Quilt Retreat for the 9th time. Always fun, great food, friendly people, great riding and fishing. Love that there are no TVs or phones. There are other dude ranches nearby, but they sit right on the highway...this one is 5 miles down a dirt road. Views from the mountains you ride up are breathtaking. Wifi...

My son and I went to Nine Quarter Circle Ranch and had a blast! Everyone was so nice. The other patrons staying there were mainly veterans of many years and took us in and treated us like family. The rides were beautiful and even though we were not experienced riders, we learned quickly. It is a fantastic place to bring...

Great riding in wonderful mountain scenery. The cabins are rustic, though comfortable. Food is tasty and plentiful. Horses are strong and responsive. And the wranglers know their stuff. The ranch is in its second generation, family owned and operated. Wonderful for couples and families.

If you are really interested in getting your kids to unplug and create long lasting memories, I highly recomment Nine Quarter Circle Ranch. Our boys ages 14 & 15 had the time of their lives and are begging to go back. That's a pretty hard accomplishment with teenage boys! The ranch is all about riding horses, being out in nature...
