You can find slightly cheaper rooms in Gardiner, but the Gateway Inn is worth the extra money. Full kitchens, private rooms, full entertainment centers and a free DVD lending library with hundreds of movies. My only complaint is the rooms make me lazy and want to lounge around drinking wine rather than hiking in the park!

We enjoyed a week late in October hiking and seeing the beautiful sights of Yellowstone. Home base for my husband and another couple who joined us was Yellowstone Gateway Inn. As we arrived we became concerned that we may have made a mistake as the dirt roads leading to the hotel have some rather rundown looking buildings. But it didn't...

We booked into this hotel for two days which is just not long enough! So we went back for more! The units are spotlessly clean, all the finishes are high end with the attention to detail evident. We had a unit with a king bed which was just so comfortable I thought I was never going to get my husband...

The bed & pillow were very comfy. Quiet and super friendly owner. Our biggest discussion revolved around when we could plan to come back and...

Our room was very nice with a comfortable King size bed and large TV as well as Queen bed and TV in the living room. We also had a full kitchen...

Do not be put off by first appearance and access via unmade road to rear. The accommodation is first rate.........very clean and comfortable, and spacious too! We had a one bedroom apartment that we really enjoyed, with food store and good restaurants within a short stroll.

Spent two nights there with 2 family members. The assigned cabin has one bedroom (sleeps 2) and also a double bed in the sitting room. It is sufficient for 2 couples. 2 TV are installed so that wherever one sleeps, it can have access to TV broadcast. A big fridge that we can stock whatever we purchased from a supermarket...
