We stayed in the carriage house for 2 nights, which I think is often rented out for long term. It was fully stocked with dishes, oven, large fridge, washer and dryer, and they were always offering to provide anything else we may need. Nick and Leann were incredible hosts. We would definitely stay here again.

Barrister's B&B is operated by Nick and Leanne, the brother sister team who manage this large old mansion next to a beautiful cathedral. I was arriving late, but Leanne met me and gave me a tour of the house and a glass of wine. My room was very nice and I had a good sleep on a comfortable bed (great...

It does not get better than this! I found the Barrister on a trip to Helena in the dead of winter and from the moment I walked through the doors, everything here was inviting-- from the decor to the host and hostess of this magnificent B & B. I look forward to coming to Helena just to stay here and...

I just returned from Helena, Montana, after staying for 4 nights at this wonderful B & B. As indicated in my review two years ago -“It's about time I gave this beautiful Bed & Breakfast the review it deserves!” - this place is first rate. After reading the last review from OutdoorDad, I felt I just had to review this...

Wonderful old house that is well kept. Innkeepers seemed nice, but there was no breakfast either of the days we stayed. The first evening we came in late and left the slip on the room door indicating the time we were going to be there for breakfast--7:30. No one there, we had to leave to a business meeting. Next morning,...

The Barrister B&B is an excellent choice. Walking distance to Historic downtown. The rooms are wonderfully appointed for the historic period, with private baths. Nick the owner is an exceptional host, that provides appetizers and a glass of wine everyning with a wonderful personality. The breakfast are yummy too.

This is my first in state bed and breakfast. 6 star accomendation compared to overseas. Spacious suites with bathroom(don't find that too often),room to roam within the mansion. Hosptitality at its best! Better living then being at home.

We just stayed one night, nevertheless we enjoyed it a lot. The Barrister is a historic mansion, which makes you feel like stepping into history. But don't be afraid, you get all today's comfort and amenities. Besides the beautifully decorated rooms guests can use all of the groundfloor, which includes a big living room, dining room and TV room. The...

Historic Victorian in lovely area of town. Not as welcoming as one would hope of a B& B but room is comfortable..no AC and if you leave the windows open there is road noise. Bed is comfotable but very high...short people will have to take a run and leap into it. Bathroms are obviously squezed into closet spaces and are...

Mixed review. Owners met us from the airport and 'nothing was too much trouble applies here' the difficulty is you feel that you are staying at Great Aunt Ednas. They redecorated the place with flowery chintz everywhere and the place is stuffed with antiques - and I do mean stuffed. You cant see any of them as there are too...
