Detailed Reviews
I absolutely loved my stay at Alameda! I have stayed at other places in Hot Springs many times over the years and I had no idea the units here have the hot spring water in the tubs in your room. It makes a huge difference not having to use the public pools. They do have outdoor tubs you can pay $10 an hour for but I didn’t feel the need with my own large jetted tub! Also having the little kitchen and outdoor barbecue to cook was great. My dogs were welcomed here as well.
I slept great on the comfy bed, enjoyed watching the adorable deer outside, loved the views, and appreciate the staff who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful. Shout out to Billy!

Alameda's is a wonderful step back in time. The clean, vintage cabins and rooms are charming and well-equipped. Fresh coffee and zucchini or pumpkin bread is available in the mornings in the office. Newly installed outdoor tubs can be reserved for $10/hour for a private soak, and the sauna is fantastic. The water is seriously healing. You can buy organic groceries or have breakfast and/or lunch at Camas market up the street and sit on the sun porch and read a book. Obvious care is put into this place and the staff is welcoming and accommodating. I enjoy the Symes, too, but it can be rauchous, crowded, and grungy. Alameda's is peaceful and restorative.

Thank you for sharing your pleasant experience at Alameda's and the town of Hot Springs. We are so happy to hear that you had a wonderful time here and enjoyed our new installed outside tub and sauna. Our outside tub is closed now and will be reopened in April 2024. Hope to see you again soon.

The Alameda is a quaint but wonderful place to stay and soak. The property is just a few minute walk to three other soak sites and downtown Hotsprings. I have had a lifetime love of soaking and swimming. I would guess I have been in over 50 different hot springs around the states and in a few other countries. The water in Hotsprings immediately became my favorite. That was over 20 years ago. There are several Hot Springs closer to me but when I can I will choose to make a much longer drive just to be in this water. One unhappy reviewer had mentioned she didn’t feel it was real hot spring water because she didn’t detect a sulfur odor. I promise her the water doesn’t have to stink to accomplish healing. This is The Best Mineral Hotsprings water I have experienced ever.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and glowing review! We’re thrilled to hear that Alameda's and the incredible water of Hot Springs have earned such a special place in your heart. Your lifelong passion for soaking and your experience with so many different hot springs make your praise all the more meaningful to us. We completely agree—mineral-rich, healing waters don’t need to have a strong sulfur smell to be authentic, and we’re glad you appreciate the unique qualities of our springs. It’s an honor to know that, despite having closer options, you choose to make the longer trip just to experience this water. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing soak soon!

I paid for three nights with my credit card but we could not stay the last night due to the strong oder of bug spray that was making us sick. I asked for a refund for the third day we didn’t stay and was told it would be put back on my card. After a day or so no refund so I called and they said they couldn’t refund me because they lost my card information and asked for it to give my refund. I got my money back along with some weird charges from another country a few days later. My credit card company flagged my card and I was not able to buy groceries and now have to order a new card. Do not give these people your credit card information

Stayed in room 3, which was very cozy. We had all we needed, and were glad to be free of a television. Our room had its own hot springs bath, which of course had a sulfur smell, but we quickly got used to it. It was perfect for relaxing. The quaint style of the building and décor perfectly suited me. Would stay again.

We had a very relaxing weekend at Alameda's. Our rustic cabin was quaint and clean. The best thing was the privacy. Either soak in your own bathroom tub or in a private outside tub. The sauna was a nice extra option. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing time, this is your place.

The place was quite, quaint, cozy, comfortable but the main reason I stayed here instead of Symes was to avoid the crowds and soak in my own room’s tub. Unfortunately, either the plug was missing or the level was broken and it was after hours once the office was closed. Either way, I could not soak and had to go to Symes after all with crowds and pay to soak. Fortunately, Symes was so kind and had an extra plug they offered to us to borrow for the eve.

A friend and I stayed at Alamedas for almost a week and had a fabulous time! I have been visiting Alamedas for close to 30 years and it has improved so much it's unbelievable.
The beds are Super Comfortable, memory foam.
I love the new Outdoors soaking tubs that you can reserve if you're a registered guest.
The on site sauna should be up and running in a week, they're doing a very nice job of it.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The room was Very Clean.

We stayed in #13, a foretaste of what was to come. Room was old, somewhat dingy - broken chain on door, old paint. The unit is clearly old and in need of upgrading. As the title mentions - I lifted the toilet seat, and there, staring up at me was a dead mouse floating in it. We won't be back

Yes John several of the rooms have tubs with natural hot springs water. And at least two of them are quire large enough for 2 people...depending of course on your size. This is a great place to stay and the owner Paul would be more than willing to answer any of your questions..
Alameda's does not have hot spring pools, but hot springs water is piped up into large tubs in several rooms. Also there are several places in town with public outdoors hot spring pools...there is a fee for use..usually 5-7 dollars
