Detailed Reviews
I heard about this place from a family member and I'm very glad I did! I really liked the large room with great ammenities inside. It's also in a perfect location, right in the middle of town, good for work or play, and they also had a very friendly staff. I will definitely be back, well worth the money!

One of the best places I've stayed on any trip! Don't waste your money on a hotel room. I honestly felt like I never left home. Such a great value with all the amenities, esp the kitchenette and then some that you'd get at a hotel chain. And the staff was super friendly and accommodating to my needs!!! Love that it's close to grocery (walking distance) and other shopping yet just a short drive from Whitefish and Glacier National Park. I will be back someday - can't be soon enough!

I found this small hotel last year when researching where to stay while in kalispell. My husband and I liked it so much we returned again this year.
For not any more money than a hotel room we got a large studio complete with a king size bed, nice sleeper sofa, kitchenette and washer/dryer in the room. It also has a large wash room.
The owners are on site and are extremely efficient and friendly. The rooms are nicely furnished and spotless.

We had no idea how busy Kalispell would be! This property was recommended to us by staff @ the Hilton, and we took it rather than sleep in our vehicle.
This is not a normal hotel- the front desk is "on call" after 430 and on weekends. We had to wait for the girl to meet us there. When she arrived, she was super sweet and helpful.
It was $200 for the night-not bad if you needed a suite with a kitchen, but we didn't.
It was nice- vaulted ceilings, nicely decorated. Carpet was stained in places and it had a bit of an odd smell ( maybe it was closed up a while?). Not the luxury it advertises, but very nice and clean.
Some notes- while the hotel is quiet, it is poorly soundproofed. Traffic and motorcycles from the highway were noisy all night.
The living room has a pull out bed and the TV. Oddly, there is no TV in the bedroom. Also, the bedroom has no AC ( the unit is in the living room) or fan. With the traffic noise, you won't want to open a window, so if you have to close the door to the bedroom for privacy, prepare to be warm in the summer.
Amenities are also sparse-2 tiny bars of soap, makeup wipes and a shampoo. No conditioner, no lotion.
Overall it was nice-in the future, I would secure reservations elsewhere before coming to town.

Glacier Ridge Suites was a perfect place for us to stay. We were in "Many Glaciers" first floor efficiency the only one with a washer and dryer! Yes - the "amenities" are limited, just a shampoo and soap, however it was replaced along with the fresh towels each day, very comfortable bed with great sheets. The place was very, very clean, the most important thing for us. The TV in this suite is small, and not well placed, but we aren't TV people, so that didn't bother us a bit.
Also, it is very close to the Moose Saloon, and that is one fun, busy bar and pizza joint. It isn't very clean but it is a hoot and we really loved the beer and wine prices along with a really good pizza. Didn't look like much but it tasted good :)

Truly a great rental! Awesome owners who provide top-shelf service. We needed a place to stay with short notice. Kent got back to me quickly! Not only was there availability, he also let me know they had a special reduced rate, something the web-site hadn't mentioned. Blessed that he brought it up! Also accommodated for a one night stay, as that's all we needed.
Glacier Ridge is easy to find and has great parking, right next to the building and in centrally located to a wide variety of Kalispell businesses.
Upon arrival, we discovered what a find we'd made! Immaculate unit with tasteful decor. I felt good about letting our 6 month old daughter roll around on the floor, something I wouldn't allow at a hotel... Great amenities provided us with a homey environment for our night in Kalispell.
At check out, I was encouraged by my conversation with Kent, as he is so personable. It's evident he and his wife strive to create a welcoming setting and are committed to excellence in serving their clients!
Thanks Lembkes! We'll be looking you up the next time we're in need of a place to rest our heads!
Ps: my husband mentioned an in room dvd player would be a welcome addition... personally, I liked being 'un-plugged'...

Perfect location for visiting our daughter's family. Kent was helpful and courteous on all occasions. I will definitely stay here again. Our room was perfect when our 2 grandchildren would stop by for a visit. Good Job, Kent!

Nice location, plenty of parking, comfortable, had everything we needed, and you could always get ahold of Janeene for any questions. I was not told when I booked about two different taxes, payment up front, and no refunds for early departure. I did enjoy my stay, just wish I would've received a little compassion at the end. I went out on business and my trip ended a week early. Instead of being offered a refund I was offered some gas money for a good review. Since I didn't notice the fine print on the receipt that said no refunds. It wasn't brought to my attention either. So, that is why I'm writing this review so no one else gets any surprises.

When we booked on-line, it wasn't clear that the place was an extended stay location.. It was hard to find due to poor signage. Most of the rooms are up a very long staircase. The rooms were fine, sitting room ok, kitchen well supplied with appliances. No ice on premises, so bought bags from Wallgreens half a block away.there were no staff present when we arrived, so had to call then to come. Power was just turned off to hot water when we arrived, so had cold showers the seconds day. No compensation was offered for that. If I needed to spend a month in Kalispell, I'd consider it, butit was a mistake for our four day stay.

Response from Katherine Jimenez, Owner at Switchback Suites

Hi David! Glacier Ridge Suites is under new ownership and we'd love to host you again so you can see everything Switchback Suites has to offer! The water heaters are never turned off, so that means constant hot water. The washer and dryers in each unit are complementary and we even include laundry pods! The best part is every room is accessible via a smart lock with a unique code, so you do not have to wait for a staff member to hand over the keys. Come stay for a day, a week or a month. We promise you'll love it! :) Joe & Katie, the new owners of Switchback Suites!

I was in Kalispell a few weeks ago on a camping trip to Glacier. Of course, Delta lost my bag with all my camping gear, so we scrambled to find somewhere to stay for a night while we waited. We were recommended this place, and boy were we lucky! The owner was nice and friendly. The room was large with a bedroom, living room, and kitchen. I could have stayed here for a week comfortably. The bed was huge and everything nice, clean, and private. Great experience. Thank you!
