Best Western Plus Flathead Inn & Suites is located seven miles south Kalispell which was a good location after spending the day in Glacier National Park. There aren't many dining options, so we asked the young man at the front desk. He suggested Harbor Grill in Summers, which was 6 miles away. We took him up on the suggestion and were not disappointed. Everything was great from checking in, cleanliness of the room, safeness of the area, and the staff. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, if/when in the area

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Best Western Flathead. We were greeted warmly and the front desk woman was so friendly and smiling and helpful. Our room was great and clean and the housekeeping staff were so helpful and smiling. The General Manager was always around and helping wherever needed. Just awesome people. Sheila in the kitchen area was a joy and the breakfast was just perfect with eggs, bacon, sausage and oatmeal and waffles and everything!! Thank you!!

This was our first time traveling with a pet, and it was a success. Pet rooms are at the far end of the hotel with easy access to a large grassy field with waste bags provided. Request ground floor if you don't want to climb stairs with your pet! (There is an elevator but it's not close to the pet rooms.) Nice common area in the lobby; decent hot buffet breakfast in a sunny dining room was also appreciated. Friendly desk crew. Picky spouse thought the bed too soft.

Our stay had us waking up at 5:40am from another guest closing their door. The hotel room doors in this hotel do not keep in/out noise. I can hear people from other rooms.
The hotel is 1.5 miles from the northern end of Flathead Lake, 8 miles from Downtown Kalispell, and 44 miles from Apgar entrance of Glacier National Park. I am not sure why the hotel charged $312 + taxes for a room based on the distance to these destinations. The hotel, to me, acts more like a motel on US93.
One positive note on the hotel is that the facade looks nice.
I usually like Best Western hotels, but I can't recommend this one.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future. The rate that you paid during your visit is based on the high tourism season of the Flathead Valley. Our rates actually sit $40-$50 lower than the comp set in the area. Our location is key for the summer months as we are 1 mile from the beautiful Flathead Lake. Somers beach being a beautiful short 1 mile walk down the paved path next to the hotel. We are just 6 miles from adorable town of Lakeside, and we are also conveniently located to the village town of Bigfork. Bigfork sits on the Eastern side of Flathead Lake and is very popular in the summer months. Great shopping, the famer's market, the Art Walk, the summer rodeo, There is also the Art & Cultural Center and the Bigfork Summer Playhouse which puts on 3/4 different plays 6 days a week. Just a few more minutes down that side of the lake is Woods Bay. Another adorable place to stop, eat great food and sit on the water. We also have an abundance of hiking near our hotel other than Glacier National Park. There is Jewel Basin, Blacktail Mountain, Foys Lake & Herron Park. We completely understand when other guests get up and depart earlier than the norm and are inconsiderate of their noise level can be very disappointing. Something that is out of every hotels control. Fabulous stay with outstanding service! Starting with Rachel, who handled our check in to Blane, who handled the breakfast area, the service was top notch. Blane personalized breakfast with his own fresh fruit combination and mixed scrambled eggs that included fresh peppers, onions, sausage, and cheese. We asked for a quiet room. Rachel provided us one as far from the road that was outstanding! It had a whirlpool tub, fireplace, leather seating area, small kitchenette, and plenty of room for us. Beautiful room in a great location.

We booked our visit with this Best Western Plus on fairly short notice and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very quiet for being at a highway intersection, very clean and nicely appointed as far as decor and exterior landscaping. The complimentary breakfast was good and fresh. The ladies caring for the breakfast room were friendly, accommodating and constantly cleaning and keeping food restocked. Comfortable rooms. linens and good water pressure in the shower! I am usually a hardcore Hilton loyal member, but I would highly recommend this Best Western and stay again next trip to Montana when we visit family.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast bar options were a pleasant surprise. You could tell they took an effort to keep the breakfast items fresh and they weren't just sitting there overcooking in the serving dishes. Would definitely stay here again. Also, conveniently located for access to all destinations in the valley.

I am in that area several times a year and this was the first time staying at this hotel. I stayed there particularly, as it was rated well and it was centrally located for my needs and the nightly charge was on a par with many of the other hotels. When I checked in it appeared to be fine. It actually went downhill from there. The hotel advertises that it had a bar and lounge so that if I needed to have a snack later in the afternoon or early evening that option was available.
As it turned out, that option wasn't available; the bar and lounge were closed totally. After a very long flight, I didn't there till late,I was a little on the hungry side. No food on the plane. I went upstairs to my room and went to bed.
I left first thing in the morning to go to breakfast with family. I was out all day and didn't return to the hotel until late. To my surprise when I walked in the room the bed was not made, there were towels in the bathroom still from my showers the night before and then the morning, the garbage was not emptied. I went downstairs to ask WHY? I was told that I would have had to ask for all of that. Never never never before have I ever had to ask to have clean towels, garbage emptied and sinks and bathrooms wiped out. They try to convince me that it was Covid 19 that made them do that. WHAT? Not emptying garbage, taking out wet towels from two days and that wiping out the bathroom or the sinks? That's mighty unsanitary as far as I'm concerned. I was there for five days not once was the bed made or the sheets or pillowcases changed. Again I would never stay there!

I am very sorry we did not exceed your expectations for your stay. Under normal circumstances our lounge is open from 5 pm - 9 pm, but due to COVID we have not been able to reopen it. We will not be able to safely staff the lounge and provide the quality of service you expect until the COVID situation ends. We are still serving a full, hot complimentary breakfast every morning, and we also have a marketplace with snacks and frozen meals such as burritos and personal pizzas. Never never never before has there been a global pandemic which put our country into total lockdown and shutdown businesses nationwide. Of course things are going to be different now. We will not risk your safety nor the safety of other guests by entering stayover rooms. We also cannot afford for a staff member to catch COVID. If one person tests positive we would all have to quarantine and the hotel would be shut down completely. I'm sorry that you feel like we are neglecting our duties but we have all had to adjust due to the COVID situation and it is not fair of you to refuse to adjust yourself too. We are happy to meet you at your door and provide fresh towels, or change your trash, or re-stock your coffee and water upon request. We just cannot risk everyone's safety by providing full stayover services. We are taking major steps in ensuring every room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in between each guest to keep both you and ourselves safe during this time. We hope you will consider returning to stay with us when the COVID situation ends so that we have a chance to show you why we are rated so well.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel for 6 nights. We were in Montana for a music festival held outside of Whitefish. The hotel was an easy drive to Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Glacier National Park, Kalispell and Flathead Lake. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We ate breakfast at the hotel 5 mornings and the food was good and the staff was very accommodating. We are East Coast early risers and one morning the staff let us in the breakfast room early to enjoy coffee and watch the sunrise on the outside porch. Parking was easy. We would recommend this lodging option to anyone looking in this general area of Montana.

I was very impressed with the professional staff, beautiful and clean hotel, and free pet friendly rooms. I typically avoid best westerns because I have found them dirty in the past, but this hotel has exceeded my expectations. Cleanest best western I’ve ever stayed in.
I was also extremely impressed with the pet friendly rooms at no extra charge (unless you cause damage). This made the trip much more enjoyable for both me and my dog. I will DEFINITELY be coming back. This will be my preferred Kalispell hotel

At this time we don't have bike rentals at the hotel, however that is a really good idea. There are some bike rental shops in both Bigfork and Kalispell.
We have 5 dog friendly rooms. All other rooms are no pet.
