Hotel's Favourite
If I could give this hotel, more than five stars or 10/10 I absolutely without hesitation, would! The staff were so friendly, welcoming and intentional, the hotel was clean & the bed - OH THE BED! It was hands down the comfiest mattress I’ve ever slept on, if they sold it - I would buy it!
The pool area was clean, the room was big and a ceiling fan in the room was literally a cherry on top! Usually hotels are stuffy, so this was amazing!!!!!!!!
This was our first time staying here but absolutely will not be our last!
Highly recommend! As Canadians it was a bit expensive with the exchange but, worth it to have such a positive experience!

One of my favorite hotels I've stayed at! All the staff were friendly and outgoing. The breakfast had some variety everyday. Being able to bring my dog was fantastic. Rooms and fitness/pool areas are very clean and up to date. Walking distance to the theater, food and shopping.
* If you stay here with a dog, they do charge a fee, which I personally don't mind paying...it takes extra cleaning to clean the dog fur up and they do cause more wear in the long run. It is sometimes difficult to find a hotel that allows pets and is in this nice of shape...so if you're a pet parent, please consider leaving a little extra for housekeeping when you leave and bring extra sheets/blankets if your pet likes to jump up on the furniture.

Very nice day I was greeted by Adele Gilbertson. She was absolutely a jewel called and checked on us did not work over the weekend. We stayed for four nights. The breakfast buffet was very good decor was nice bedding does very comfortable in the small kitchen area was very nice, especially enjoyed having the bedroom off of the living room area. The only area suggestion that we had skipped are every other day housekeeping, and just exchanged towels out. The lady at the desk was a bit snippy, reminding us that we had rejected housekeeping for the day before. However, in meeting up with housekeeping they were first class I don’t know if the front desk lady had too much on her plate to handle the check in check outs was making her very busy. That’s making her sleepy, but she was the only one that we encountered that had a negative tone, the gentleman that took care of the breakfast kept everything very nice and clean and tasty. We would definitely say again. I rented 2 rooms. There for a wedding.

Valerie, Thank you for sharing your experience! It sounds like you had a wonderful stay overall, and it's great to hear that Adele made such a positive impression with her attentive service. A comfortable bed and a nice breakfast can really enhance a trip, especially when you're there for a special occasion like a wedding. I understand your concerns about the housekeeping situation; it can be a bit frustrating when communication doesn't go as smoothly as expected. It's nice that you found the housekeeping staff to be first class despite the front desk interaction. Sometimes, the busy pace of hotel operations can affect staff demeanor, so it’s good to give them the benefit of the doubt. It's fantastic that you'd consider returning, as that speaks volumes about the overall experience. Thanks again for sharing your insights, and I hope your next stay is just as enjoyable—if not better!

The manager is so bad that she cancelled our future reservation without telling us . Upon inquiry , she says it’s because we wanted the bed made and towels changed upon request . She is exploiting the high price place due to high tourist value of the location . We complained to Hilton but they didn’t listen either .

Josephine, the front desk representative was a wealthy of information about the area restaurants, bear safety, and things to do. The king suite had a full sized fridge, 2 burner cooktop, microwave, 2 pots, and a dishwasher filled with cups, bowls, plates and silverware for 4 people. The bed and pillows were comfy. The spa was hot and welcome after long hikes in the park, but wear an old suit as the seat is rough and may snag your suit. Breakfast had toast, bagels muffins, waffle machine, oats, yogurt, cereal, potatoes, eggs, sausage or bacon, and a fruit basket with apples, oranges, and bananas. Wednesday is a socal night with a lite dinner. They had a salad bar, hummus, and hot dogs with chili. I'm GF and my husband is Vegan. We found plenty to eat. The kitchen staff worked very hard to make sure there was plenty to eat. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. The east side is another 2.5 hour drive. Our favorite hikes were Avalance Lake, John Lake Loop, and Iceberg Lake. We also did a day hike to Sun Point and 3 falls: Baring, St. Mary, and Virginia.
Costco, Walmart, Starbucks, and lots of shops and restaurants are 2 minutes away. Ask at the front desk if they have bear spray to lend out.

Stayed here for 3 nights after driving south from Calgary for our first cross border shopping trip since we moved west and our first trip south of the border since before Covid struck.
Had to decide between Grand Falls, MT and Kalispell, MT and picked Kalispell as its an hour closer and had all that we needed.
We are Hilton Honors members and will always stay at a Hilton brand hotel when we can. Picked the Homewood Suites, Kalispell as they have the separate bedroom set up along with a full size fridge (handy for storing grocery items to take home).
Very nice looking hotel from the moment we arrived. Blends in with the rustic vibe of being close to the mountains. The guest check-in area is gorgeous with lots of wood and stone, comfy seating, fireplace and nice artwork. We arrived a bit early but the on duty manager worked her magic and we were able to check in after a 10 minute wait so no complaints.
We had a king size bed room and our only complaint, and this is the same for the last two Homewood Suites we have checked in to in the last year is that the sofa's all need replacing!! They obviously get a fair amount of wear and tear so have to be durable but they do tend to sag after a bit. But seriously, that is the only complaint.
Everything in the room was spotless and the bed was comfy. Room was very quiet at night and we never heard other guests. We were on the third floor on the south side of the hotel overlooking the parking lot (and mountains in the distance) but all was quiet.
Breakfast was provided in the lounge area every morning and there was the usual varied selection of hot and cold entrees.
Now the staff.....everybody was friendly and everybody greeted you warmly. Apart from the young lad that brought some extra pillows up to us one night a lot of the staff seemed to be my age or older and without exception they were all helpful and friendly. Obviously management is doing something right at this hotel! (and the "young lad" was friendly and efficient as well !!)
The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the movie theatre (went two of our three nights) and there is a Walmart Supercentre next door along with various restaurants including Bullmans (great wood fired pizza). All within a very very short walking distance.
Across the other side of Rte 93 there is a large shopping plaza with Costco, Lowes and a Famous Daves BBQ (went there 3 times!)
Again, very good location if you want to do some shopping and only an approximately 45 minute drive to the West Gate of Glacier National Park.
Already looking forward to coming back in the Fall and staying at the hotel. Just an all round great short visit and extremely friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel, whether it was front desk, cleaning staff or the morning breakfast crew, all were exceptional.

My family and I travelled from Alberta to Montana with three small kids. After a six hour drive we landed at this hotel in Kalispell. We checked in and went up to our room to check it out. Due to the fact we were travelling all day we did not have time to eat and quickly left the hotel room. We were in the room for a matter of 15 min. My son has bad asthma that is triggered by dust. The rooms were quite dingy and not well kept. Immediately upon leaving the hotel my son coughed horribly for over an hour he could not even eat his dinner he was struggling so much. We knew it was from the hotel room that was not very clean. We could not risk my sons health staying in a poorly ventilated and unclean hotel room so we we left having to find another hotel later in the evening. We asked for a refund from the hotel and were left with no help. We did not use the room for more than 10 minutes in total. The excuse from the manager was that due to the fact it was after 8:00pm we could not give the room away. We had checked in not even 2 hours before and left to eat dinner. The employee we initially booked with told us there were plenty of rooms available so there were no real demand for people wanting on hotel rooms and we weren't inconveniencing anyone based on that premise. It was a large amount of money for not even using the room. This situation was out of our hands as I was not about to risk my son’s health. I am very disappointed, this has put a big damper on our trip and was very upsetting.
Please rethink your stay here. We were able to get a booking at SpringHill Suites Kalispell down the street. It was beautiful, clean and well ventilated.
Very saddening that a hotel would take advantage of a family like this. It is pure greed and nothing less. The cost for not even using the room was $466.

We were supposed to stay here for a gymnastics competition Jan 11-14th. On the 10th of January the municipality of Kalispell forced the event organizers to cancel due to a massive weather event (cold and snow storm) that was coming. At that time I called to cancel the room and was told no (this was 24 hours prior to our expected arrival), it was non-refundable, which I at that time did see it had a cancellation date of Jan 6th.
My daughter and I decided to go anyway since our flights still hadn't ben cancelled, on the way to the airport our flight was also cancelled. I called again and said, look I tried yesterday and you said no, but now the flight is cancelled to, still the answerwas no. The manager was awful, no compassion or regard. This was an extenuating circumstance in my opinion and other people we knew were allowed to cancel in the same time frame because they booked direct and we had not. It was 100% the hotel that would not waive the cancellation policy, the site we used to book was able to as long as the hotel would agree, but they would not.
0 stars for flexibility and politeness. Wont book with them next year when we return as we do every year and had always stayed here in the past.

I came to Montana from California, and as a Hilton Honors member, I chose to stay in all Hilton properties. This was our third hotel, and we were here for 4 nights. I selected this hotel because I was traveling with my 82 year old father, and I wanted some extra space for him to be comfortable and knowing Kalispell, this is a great location right in the heart of shopping and restaurants. We had the 2 queen accessible suite on the 1st floor.
Upon entering the hotel lobby, I was pleasantly surprised at the decor and style. It had a nice mountain Montana feel with high ceilings and large wood beams, and a lovely fireplace in the lobby that they turned on each morning.
The suite was really large. While they haven’t modernized as much as their other brands, and they have more classic wood furniture, and less storage, it was ideal for our stay. The kitchen was roomy with a table on wheels for eating, the family room had a nice sofa and TV and then the bedroom had the two queen beds and a very large bathroom off the bedroom. There was a nice little closet and the TV cabinet had 6 small drawers you could use for clothes. While the storage was not as significant as the more modern Home2 Suites brand of hotel, it was decent.
The breakfast was good - they changed up the menu each morning for the hot items, but they always had oatmeal, bread for toasting, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc.
The staff of this hotel were incredibly friendly. Not just the front desk folks, but the housekeeping, the maintenance people, and the folks who ran the breakfast were all super. By far, this is the best service I’ve had at a US based hotel.
I would happily stay in this hotel again, as I loved the friendly staff, the dog friendly accommodations, the spacious room.

Our first stay at this hotel was exceptional; great, friendly service, meals above average, and the attention to room cleanliness was terrific. The same can be said of our second visit 3 years ago. We really enjoy the full size refrigerators, close proximity to the park, free breakfast and evening snacks, and professionalism of the staff. Unfortunately we can't say the same for this visit. We fully understand that adjustments had to be made due to Covid 19, such as the elimination of the evening buffet service and the truncated breakfast service. However, there were issues that will prevent us from staying here again unless they are fixed.
First of all, the hotel has clear signage stating that masks need to be worn at all times while in the hotel public spaces. That was not enforced, and in fact, one of the desk staff never wore a mask even though he interacted with staff and customers all the time. Secondly, the cleaning staff was for the most part, untrained and neglected to collect garbage from our room, and left used towels when we requested them to be removed. Lastly, breakfast items were largely inedible. Please, rather than serve tasteless, cardboard-like fake egg product, just provide fresh fruit and pastries. That would be fine! We really hope that whoever manages the hotel at this time takes these comments seriously.
