For nearly 2 weeks traveling the western states, I stayed at hotels in the $150-$200/night range and by far, Travelodge, Kalispell (compared to Best Western, La Quinta, Fairfield Inn, Marriot Bonvoy, IHG and Quality Inn) provided the poorest experience. The facilities need a complete remodel, room size was the smallest, private balcony was dirty and contained trash, hallway carpets were filthy. Being about 30 miles from Glacier Nation Park, the owner should invest in their business.

I see nothing wrong with this property as long as you have the proper level of expectation going in. This is an older hotel and it is there to appeal to the budget traveler who needs a place to sleep.

As my wife said, it was clean in all the places that really count. Sure, there was an old stain on one of the chairs, the bedspread had a small hole in it, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, the TV cabinet looked like it had been attacked by an angry woodchuck, there was a pile of cigarette butts out on the ledge of the balcony, but none of that really impacted our stay. This is not the sort of place where you sit out on the deck to enjoy the scenery.

Check-in was quick and efficient, there was plenty of parking on site, and we were close to restaurants like Moose's so it was conveniently located. We walked our dog around the neighborhood at night and never felt unsafe.

Don't get me wrong, it was not worth anywhere near what we paid for a two night stay, but it was certainly one of the less expensive hotels in the area and that is why we picked it. We weren't looking for tons of amenities, we weren't looking for fancy and new, we just needed a place to sleep and this worked great for that.

This is an old building that hasn't been updated in a very long time. However, except for some light bulbs, everything worked including the a/c and the wifi. Kalispell is very expensive in the summer and motels are often full. If the price was right, I would consider staying here again.

I have stayed here numerous times, this time will be the last. The floors are disgustingly dirty the rooms stink like moldy butts. The shower head barely sprays any water. What went wrong Travelodge. P.S. do not bring kids if you don't want them exposed to drugs, barely got out of the car and another occupant was asking do you have anything stronger than what's legal. Definitely not safe anymore

Our family stayed in an overpriced suite on August 24, 2021. It appears that the pictures displayed on it's website were edited to reflect a much cleaner and updated facility. Building maintenance and upkeep was lacking. A window crank to allow egress in case of fire was not attached. It appeared that the smoke detector also had not been changed in a long period of time. The shower and the bathroom floor were stained and dirty while the coffee maker was placed next to a sink which could possibly be an electrical hazard. Their website listed that breakfast would be served however breakfasts were nonexistent. I contacted the Kalispell fire marshal's office requesting that they make an unannounced safety inspection of this motel. In addition, because of the condition of this motel, I notified the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce because it appeared that there were serious safety concerns. This motel is in need of a lot of work.

This room looked nothing like the advertisement photos when I booked the room. This is the kind of place you do not want to take your shoes off in. I did not use anything and did not shower there. There were pubic hairs in the tub and that bathroom door with the hole in it would not close. I had no other option but to stay, but was saddened to have taken my mother there as part of our GNP vacation. The carpet was nasty. And we could hear the man snoring in the next room. The wiring was everything plugged into one power strip. Thankfully I came self contained and charged our phones on my own device and made my own coffee in my own cup. Gross. This whole block should be bulldozed.

Dirty/stained carpet, ring around the bath tub, dirty, shower walls with stains/dirt in the seams, missing cover on the base heating units, filthy vents on the air conditioner, black cob webs between the curtains and the ceiling, water damage to the wall under the front window, damaged/dirty entry door, dirty walls, food and wrappers under and behind the furniture, a power strip carrying the load of the fridge, microwave and lamp, general dirt and grime everywhere. The sheets did seem to be clean and passed the black light test but the general filthiest of the room made for poor sleep as dreams of creepy crawlies invaded.
“Breakfast “ consisted of sugary cereals, pastries & juices, and some fruit. Nothing healthy.
We will be avoiding all Windham properties for the rest of our two week journey.
NOT worth the $235 fee. This property, most likely built in the late 60’s needs a complete renovation. They need to lower their rates to those charged by other low end Motels. Their rating needs to be reduced to disappointing/ disgusting. Our mistake was to believe the online pictures, and to wait too late in booking a room in order to have other choices. Shame on Wyndham.

We paid 160$ for a non-smoking room [extra for parking] and the room reeked of smoke. I mean everything made of fabric stunk.
The heater was stuck on--air conditioner running at same time.
Carpet was sticky.
AND the worst for last:

The smoke detector was disconnected!

For the price compared to other hotels in Kalispell you can’t go wrong. Stayed 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised (stayed many years ago and it was good also) but was unsure as it’s obviously an older place. Breakfast was very basic, but staff were friendly and room was somewhat updated (vinyl plank floors) hubby often does not sleep well on vacation, but had no issue here and it was quiet.

No they don't but every room has either a balcony or the door to your room is open to outside. Easy access if you're a smoker.
