when checking in, the lady behind the counter (Terry) told me I was rude when I hadn't even said anything up to that point! She also told me to stop talking to her LOL, like I said, I hadn't said a word up to that point. I stay in a lot of motels and through out the year in my...

The room was large, and was clean but had no wifi! They never told me that the hotel had no wifi when I made the reservation 2 days earlier. Then the train track is very close to the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was not very impressive got some coffee and a roll and hit the road.

Good place to stay. It is not fancy but the rooms were spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. Staff were friendly. Room includes breakfast--many items you microwave, but they have the now-traditional waffle maker also plus a nice assortment of juices. They also have a pancake maker. There are restaurants, fast food, and a grocery store within...

We stayed in room 103 which was very spacious with a table / chairs. There were laundry facilities, fresh baked cookies, bottles of water, vending machines with food choices, and a nice breakfast. Great customer service. Wifi was not working while we were there.

The staff was absolutely wonderful even though they accidentally assigned us to a already occupied room. The breakfast was wonderful! So many selections. They provide omelettes, biscuits and gravy, waffles and cereal as just a few of the many options. The rooms were nice and clean. I would have liked some type of compensation for the room mix up in...

Apparently there are only 2 hotels in town. The first one I stopped at didn't have any pet friendly rooms available. The Locomotive Inn was it. The lady at the check in was so nice & friendly. Very pleasant. I got a 1st floor room right by the back door so it was easy to load & unload the car...

My husband wanted to drive into Yellowstone on the Beartooth Highway and although Red Lodge was nearer I thought it was a rip off being closer to Yellowstone. Looked a little further afield and found the Locomotive Inn. Couldn't fault this for a one night stopover with the room being clean and plenty big enough for all our luggage. Choices...

Having moved across the country from North Carolina to Montana, I needed to find a safe, inexpensive place to land, rest from my trip and find a longer term place to stay while getting on my feet. I had my disabled son with me, and my horse. On the phone, staff assured me a handicapped equipped room and a place...

Sure the train goes by but rooms are bigger and the morning breakfast in the lobby is second to none. Locomotive Inn is my go to Hotel anytime we travel to Billings. The pool and hot tub sadly were closed our last trip, but the staff goes out of their way to meet your personal needs.
