We stayed here upon the recommendation of TA and Anthony Bourdain. This hotel is full of old timey character and within easy walking distance of restaurants & bars. Not too far from the west entrance of Yellowstone (45 min). Front desk service is amazing. So helpful & friendly! One of the coziest beds I have ever slept in. Room was... More

If you want to experience the heart of Livingston with all it's charm, history, wonderful restaurants, art galleries, brew pubs, then you MUST stay at the Murray Hotel. Murray Bar and Gil's Goods (restaurant) are conveniently located next door to the Murray. Thank you, Merissa (front desk host), for making my stay at the Murray, unforgettable! This young lady went... More

Large clean room, comfortable bed on the third floor, but not to worry because there is an elevator. Friendly staff. Interesting lobby and exhibit area. Liked the roof outdoor seating area. The bar has live music most nights. Also a very nice restaurant around the corner.

This hotel is total retro-sheik! Charming, clean, comfortable and the staff is top-notch! I stayed on Halloween. The hotel doesn't have it's own parking area and since it was trick-or-treating time, the streets were filled up, I drove around the block and called the front desk and they let me know where the unloading zone was. The lady was so... More

Interiors fascinating, lobby and our room. Our room was charming and included all the amenities of modern hotel, but with much more charm. Staff very attentive. Downright friendly, accommodating. Old fashioned elevator system necessitating a call to have staff run...no problem. Location couldn't be beat. Walkable town. Train across the street, but hardly noticeable. Great bistro dining! Also a zany... More

We stayed here on a Friday night for a friend's birthday. The location was perfect right downtown. The staff was super friendly. The room was very clean and such a fun retro hotel. The attached bar had a band that night which was a great time. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. A step back in time that makes you feel so at home. The thoughtfulness of the rooms and the ambiance are second to none. We also went to the bar and had a blast chatting with the bartender until midnight. These folks are wonderful and so inviting. Attention to detail and a great location gets a five... More

What a great, classic, charming place with great service. The place oozes history. Comfortable without being overdone. Great location in a nice, small, friendly town. Our top-floor room was huge compared to modern hotels of comparable price. Bar downstairs makes stumbling back after a day of fishing and night of drinking pretty easy :) The restaurant next door is worth

We stayed a few nights in early September. It's located right across from the train station and is on the main drag. Within 2 blocks is a theater, restaurants , bars, everything you might want as a visitor. Inside the lobby is fun, with comfortable couches to hang out and full of stuffed animals and heads. The old style elevator requires... More

My wife and I had our 2 year Anniversary . I call the front desk at the Murray to make a reservation for our Anniversary and the kind and enjoyable lady at the front desk that took our call immediately upgraded us to the Peckinpah Suit.
