I've stayed here before. The hotel is old and clunky. Things are just old. But the rooms are clean and comfortable, the hotel is quiet so those are my main concerns. When I stayed in February there were about 20 young, non English speaking men in the pool room. I am a solo traveler most nights so I was very concerned for my safety. That night I stuck a chair in front of the door. If it fell over in the middle of the night I would have been alerted. I did ask the staff why this was happening, she was unclear. I almost did not stay, but was exhausted from driving, AND I am very capable. I won't be back even though the staff and hotel are both good. My safety and peace of mind are more important. Maybe I can find a small, locally owned, American hotel and help a mom & pop instead.…
We stayed here twice recently, about 10 days apart, and had a terrific experience both times. Our rooms were very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was as good as you’ll ever see for a chain hotel buffet. The only glitch was check out on the second stay - inexplicably IHG does not have online checkout, and the desk clerk kept me and the 4 people behind me in line waiting for 15-20 minutes while she chatted with a potential customer about rates and strategies to get the lowest price. I would (and did) stay here again anytime.
We spent a few days in a king suite with a kitchenette. The room was comfortable and the staff was exceptional. One of our better stays. This hotel is definately upscale and without going crazy on price. The only thing we noted - the two queen beds pretty well filled up the bedroom; widthwise. I'm short and had to crowd the head of the bed to keep my feet from hanging over. My wife also hit her arm against the bedstand during the night. Although the mattress was very comfortable, the tighter fittings of the furniture and mattresses kind of detracted from most excellent mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.
I'm pretty bleh about chain hotels. They are almost always the same: same rooms, same lobby, same amenities. Staybridge was a nice surprise. I usually stay at a competing property to accumulate points, but they were all sold out, so I had to try Staybridge. This is where I'll stay from now on if I have the choice. 3 nights a week they have an open beer/wine bar. Good free breakfast every morning with decent selections and hot options. Very friendly staff. Full kitchenettes in every room, including a full size fridge. Also, they were able to accommodate a 4:30am shuttle trip to the airport. If you're not looking for a luxury hotel, Staybridge is a great option.
Here for a 2 night stay for a college visit and were very impressed. Can't say that we utilized all the amenities (e.g. pool/hot-tub, in-room kitchen amenities), but for what we were able to utilize we had no complaints! Arrived a bit early for check-in, but several rooms were available and offered to us. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was also plentiful. Room was in good order. Maybe in need of some additional TLC, but overall it was clean, nice, and comfortable. No housekeeping available unless requested, but for 2 nights it really wasn't needed or missed. Breakfast was very good. A tremendous number of options and we found everything to be pretty tasty and fresh. It was also nice to be able to serve ourselves (in comparison to many other recent trips elsewhere where that was not possible due to COVID rules). Breakfast staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The dining area was spacious, pretty quiet, and has a nice warm fireplace. We stopped by briefly during one of the evening receptions to check out the offerings. Since we were on our way to dinner we didn't have anything, but the fruit, cheese, hummus, wine, offerings looked pretty good. Everything was packaged nicely too. All-in-all - this was a great stay and if our travels ever bring us back to the area we would definitely return.…
We were a lil unsure when we booked this hotel as it only had one review that gave it one star but the price was right so we jumped in. I'm glad we did. This hotel is reasonably priced but with extra comforts than your average budget/extended stay motel. The bed for example is better than middle road, its not your bamboo latex cloud but it is certainly a comfortable bed. A two burner stove, fridge and modest counter space. This is not a luxury hotel, more a sensible temporary living concept. Simple modernness and clean!! The kitchen is not stocked but they have the convenience for you to purchase a pot pan set at the front desk if you really needed.. There is a cutting board in the room though.. They do not have hand towels but I believe these are the lil things that help put more attention on other details, hence, affordability as a whole. The management and staff that I encountered on my stay was professional, personable and genuinely seemed to give a hoot. The only thing, and we forgot to mention when I checked out, is the fridge. The motor was particularly loud. We got used to it and still slept well but it is definitely worth mentioning, room 225. And thank you to Jesus at the front desk for taking pictures for us in our Halloween costumes. Oh and the coffee was better than average too.…
I stayed here for a week recently and I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. My suite was updated, super clean and very comfortable. I really enjoyed being in the room while I was working during the day. There are numerous dining options in the area and grocery stores etc. This was my first visit to MIssoula and I enjoyed the area and this hotel. I'd stay here again for sure.
I hadn't heard of this place before but the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and it was easy to get to downtown Missoula from it. The only thing I didn't like was the bed was too hard. I was very happy!
Our family of 5 (mom, 2 grandmothers, & 2 teens) enjoyed this property as a stopover for 1 night. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a king bed, 2 queens, & safabed plus 2 bathrooms. We were able to spread out nicely. Our only complaint was there was no table in the room, just a tall bar with our 2 barstools (made it hard to eat or play games together). The room was clean, beds comfortable, & showers hot. The snack & wine time was nice, plus my son got to enjoy some basketball too! Breakfast was ok, and the community eating area was well laid out, both inside & outside. Staff was nice, so not sure about the last reviewer who was complaining (who goes to bed at 8:30??). The quiet times are 10pm to 6am, which is normal. We enjoyed our stay!
Do not get a room by the basketball courts and if you do don’t even bother calling the rude and incompetent front desk staff. Three night stay that was miserable due to the pounding of one to four basketballs and the screaming and yelling of those occupying the basketball courts every single night. If you plan on going to sleep by 8:30 to be at appointment by 6:00 you will be disappointed and upset to find out the basketball courts don’t close until 10 (if they abide by rules). You will also be disappointed to find out the AC and the TV will not drown out the noise. Very frustrating when you know right across the hall there are rooms that cost the same as yours but they have the opportunity to sleep because, with some exception, that is what most people are there to do, SLEEP. Called every night to complain and left messages for manager but the front desk must have forgotten. My favorite staff member was the woman on the third night who was rude, condescending and snotty who said, and I quote, what do you want me to do about it. She also added, we have no more rooms so you will have to wait until 10 to sleep. Needless to say, I won’t be back. I won’t even get started on the dirty bathroom. That was the least of my problems during this stat.…
