If you want a rockin' solid stay, this place just barely covers it for the cash. The UPs are good cable, nice mountain view, fast AC, lots of room. The place takes dogs and the floors are laminate- we could still smell the dog odor....More
Very easy check-in with friendly hotel staff. Rooms appear to have recently been renovated and are very nice. Wooden-look floor seems cleaner than carpet. Beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get back in the car for our road trip.
Our first room had a Oder to it. Asked for a different one which they accommodate us completely and was much better. Ice machine were down, probably due to heat.

Having been a hotel hound for the last 3 months, I have seen a lot of these mistakes. Usually it is caused by a combination of mistakes. One is doing too much too fast, another is a new person on staff but I have found one of the most common problems is just plain laziness, oh and never underestimate the power of cheep.
