Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is often celebrated for its cleanliness and the variety of temperature-controlled pools, with many guests appreciating the added comforts such as robes and on-site dining. The staff's friendly and professional service contributes to the peaceful atmosphere that guests love, alongside the tranquil lodge setting with quiet rooms that boast river views. While the spacious accommodations are generally well-regarded, some visitors suggest the rooms require updating and are not entirely justified in price. Despite its remote location, the resort’s serene surroundings along the Clark Fork River are a highlight for travelers seeking relaxation.

Rooms in River Lodge (not Glacier Lodge) were better than 3 star hotels we've stayed in. Walk in roomy showers, comfy king size bed with comfy pillows, 50" screen tv, microwave, fridge and coffee pot provided everything we needed when relaxing in our room. Quinn's has 6 pools with varying temps from 57 degrees to 107 degrees. Our favorite was 105 degrees. There is a coffee shop onsite with cups that can be sipped while soaking. The Tavern and Harwood House have excellent but pricey menus. We got there in time for lunch and had a prime rib melt with a side for $16. It is one of my favorites since they have gluten free bread. Another lunch favorite of ours is the grilled chicken salad, also on the dinner menu for $15. It is huge and delicious with sprouts and served like a cob salad. All menus are on their website. Our favorite time to soak is at 7 a.m. when it first opens and only overnight guests are allowed. There was no one in the pools at first even though it was a holiday week. It is open to the public at 9 a.m. We soak for an hour sipping our cappuccinos before breakfast. We also like to soak another hour in the afternoon and evening. Many people soak for longer periods of time. The minerals in the pools are very therapeutic. Be sure to drink plenty of water to flush out any toxins that can be released from your joints during soaking. The kitchen closes at 9:30, but the Tavern stays open for serving drinks until closing. We saw many families there over the holiday break from school and thought what a great idea to take the kids camping in a cabin during the winter. They have a gift shop and massage service available.

Our favorite way to relax close to home is soaking at Quinn's Hot Springs. Just 19 miles off I-90 past St. Regis, MT, this resort is worth the drive. Soaking in the Hot Springs is a great way to relax and let all your tension melt away. The new River Lodge rooms are spacious and have beautiful walk in showers. The bed and pillows are comfy. too. Overnight guests can begin soaking at 7 a.m. and have the pools practically to yourselves before opening to the public 2 hours later. There is a Coffee Shop, Tavern and a 5 star restaurant on site as well as a gift shop. Showers and changing rooms are also available for walk-ins, which are limited to capacity, so call ahead. It's okay to bring your resort purchased drinks into the pools, so enjoy and drink up the beautiful scenery as well!

We always love visiting Quinn’s for Christmas and our Anniversary. Service is great! Wish the new pools would have been open. Recommend the following: robes be complimentary with rooms, had to pay extra upon arrival. Be allowed to charge tavern food and drinks to room so you don’t have your wallet sitting on the pool deck or have lockers available. For our Christmas dinner the steaks were served cold, ensure quality control even at the busiest times. We’ll be back next year!

This place is a little pricey, HOWEVER in my opinion it is worth it because it costs money to keep a resort as nice as Quinn’s is. We stayed in a cabin on the river that had a walk in shower w/ 2 shower heads, a big jacuzzi tub and it even came with wine, snacks and robes! The view of the river is gorgeous. Food is great, service is great, pools are clean and nice. There is a bar you can walk up to from the pool to get drinks and they always seem to be pretty speedy and friendly.
Also, when I called to book my reservation the receptionist accidentally booked our stay for Friday rather than Saturday like I had asked for. When we got to the desk to check in on Saturday the clerk told us that our reservation was for yesterday! My heart dropped! I felt better though when they immediately booked me another room without hesitation OR extra charge. Awesome service 👍🏻
Like I said, this place is spendy but I’ve never stayed at a resort and had it exceed every expectation like Quinn’s has. We’re lifers! Thank you Quinn’s!!

No where on the website does it inform you that the River View Cabins are located across the highway from the pools, restaurant and tavern. Each time you want to eat or attempt to soak in the overcrowded pools you either have to play chicken with 70mph traffic to walk across the highway or get in your vehicle and drive. The website depicts luxury….what we got was an overpriced motel 6 experience. Our cabin was dirty, had multiple burned out light bulbs, broken dining room table, an uncomfortable mattress, the tiny little bathroom with its every bathroom sized sink/counter with its linen closet sized shower housed a cheap shower head so full of minerals it sprayed everywhere except your body, broken bathroom tiles on the floor, spiderwebs on the ceiling and a bar of soap. You have to choose between washing your body in the shower and your hands at the sink! It’s great that they provide a bottle of wine and snacks….yet not a wine opener in site. Don’t bother calling front desk to inquire about one or ice….because you will never get anyone to answer the phone. The Harwood House restaurant followed the theme of overpricing and under delivering as well. $100+ bill for overcooked and under seasoned steak/filets. Want a salad great that’s extra! $40 for four silver dollar sized overcooked filets with 1/4 of crab meat atop a little pile of unflavored mashed potatoes and a few sticks of limp asparagus. Doesn’t that sound incredible!
The pools were so overcrowded each time we attempted that I got to enjoy one hour prior to closing the night before we left.
At checkin we were given wrist bands to wear which would allow us to charge meals/drinks to our bill. The band also doubled as a room key so you didn’t have to remember to bring one with you……for every room except the Meriwether Lewis. We were handed an actual door key with a plastic keychain circa 1990s motel 6. Then we got to fiddle around with said key two handed each time to finagle the lock to close.
As far as the picturesque back porch/swing overlooking the River….so relaxing to sit on the swing early in the morning and listen to the trains screeching their brakes for about 20 minutes as they slow to enter into the tunnel. At checkout neither staff member that was working at the time asked the guest “How was your stay?” It’s almost as if they know it’s subpar! Save yourself the frustration and stay elsewhere. Our relaxing weekend away turned into a frustrating experience.

A friend and I went for a two day visit to this resort. From the very beginning the check in process was quick and easy, the room was beautiful on the river, we were in the river lodge and the rooms were oversized, nicely decorated, a huge bathroom with a slate tile floor and shower. A small kitchen was included. We ate at both the tavern at restaurant, food was excellent! The hot pools Were lovely and you can see the new construction coming in with many more pools to come, can’t wait to return another time! Everyone we met, staff wise, was helpful friendly and truly seem to enjoy their job. Great job quinns! You made a fabulous trip for us

Only 2 1/2 hours outside of Spokane Washington this is an easy must do long weekend getaway. They have several rooms in the lodge and separate cabins some river side and some in the other side of the property that are pet friendly. We stayed in a lodge room w/ river view. It is a nice room with a great view from a private deck. They extras they have in room like French press with whole bean coffee, snacks of nuts and chocolates, bottle of wine , water bottles and juice in the fridge and soft fluffy robes perfect for use while heading to the hot spring pools. Be sure and ask if your room/accommodation includes these extras I was unsure which did and did not. If not it would be worth the ‘deluxe’ upgrade of $40 to get it. The thermal pools have varying Temperatures so you can find the right one for you. There is a towel hut pool side and plastic bags for wet clothes ( or to cover your robe and towel if it snowing while your soaking like it was when we were there!) love that you can get a cocktail while enjoying your soak but that also means people are happily chatting after a few and sometimes louder than you’d like if you wanted a romantic quiet mineral soak. The bar also has a ‘bikini bar’ so you can go in your swim wear or robe and grab a bite or cocktail. So wonderful to warm up with a brandy while sitting in your robe before heading back to the cabin. The meals were good and highly recommend the house smoked steelhead lox and the prime rib. You can enjoy meal in the saloon or the quieter restaurant which has few more food options including weekend specials.

Our stay at Quinn Hot Springs was lovely. We chose to stay in the newly built units and enjoyed every minute. Everything the location had to offer left us wanting to come back. We dined at the restaurant and the food was scrumptious, also loved the coffee from the coffee shop. The rooms had the perfect cabin atmosphere and were very clean. The pools were constantly disinfected and the pool staff checked the water temperature regularly. The pool staff offered water as we sat and anytime we reached for a towel, they were dry. Can't forget about the beautiful weather and landscape. When we checked out, I forgot an item. I noticed it was missing when I got back home so I sent an email explaining what had happened. The customer service personnel offered to take a look and when they found it, they offered to mail it back to me (I live out of state). It was very kind of them to go out of their way to get me my item back. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would recommend staying at Quinn Hot Springs.

Quinns resort needs to facilitate dinning and bar charges to the room or to a credit card on file. The awkwardness of having to carry loose money around in and out of the pool discourages drink and food purchases. Unlike some other resorts, it is really nice that they do however, allow drinks in the pool area.

I've stayed twice in the last six months and found the experiences to be consistent. The pools were recently updated and I never saw the old ones, but these are gorgeous and cleverly done - the architect did a masterful job of building the rocks and waterfall around the pools so it appears to be part of the hillside. The pools are clean and busy but not too busy. The food is also great food, both in Harwood House restaurant and the tavern. Definitely get a reservation for the restaurant - it's worth it, and it's very busy so you won't likely get in last minute. The staff is also great - they would go above and beyond to ask if they can help, offer things (like a cup of water or warm towel at the pools), which can really make or break and experience. My only criticism is that the rooms are pretty rustic, and more so than you might expect at $300ish per night. As long as you expect that, you'll have a great time. I will also say I think I'm more fussy about rooms than the average person. They are clean and generally comfortable, although we happened to have had an uncomfortable bed on our last visit. The other people traveling with me on the prior visit (girls weekend) and my kids all said they slept fine. I would also bring your own pillows if you are particular about pillows. Rooms do have a microwave and refrigerator, table and chairs, so you could bring quite a lot of your own food/beverages if you wanted to. Definitely a fun and unique place and we will be back I'm sure!
