My husband and I had a fabulous time in late September/early October at the Ranch at Rock Creek. The ranch. nestled in between three mountain ranges, was spectacular. We stayed in the Winchester Room of the Granite Lodge, which was was cozy and wonderfully appointed with beautiful western furnishings. This also enabled us to take full advantage of the lodge's...

My Dad and I spent 4 days at the ranch this summer and it was the best vacation we have ever had! We did almost all the activities, and had a great time with each one. My favorite activities were the shooting and the fly fishing. The staff and the guides treated us like royalty! And the food was AMAZING!!...

My wife and I spent a week at The Ranch At Rock Creek recently, and I couldn't recommend it more highly! We'd heard that it's considered the world's number one luxury ranch and it would be tough to disagree with that statement. From the moment you arrive, you'll be in awe of the Ranch's enviable landscape, and everywhere you turn...

We spent a week at the Ranch in late August. Norwood picked us up at the Missoula airport. He told us all about the ranch and things we should try on the way over. We didn't have great weather for the first 5 days. I guess it was the coldest and most unpredictable August on record. Anyhow the last 2...

Food: I love food. I love cooking it, eating it, talking about it. We come from Edinburgh where we enjoy the cooking of Michelin starred chefs, and other great fine dining experiences. This was the outstanding feature of the ranch for me. The food at the ranch was spectacular and my taste buds felt right at home! The meat was...

Our trip to the Ranch at Rock Creek to attend a wedding will go down as the most memorable family vacation we've ever experienced. The property is magnificent, with views in every direction. The guest houses, "glamping tents" (don't be fooled by the word "tents," they are spectacular) and Granite Lodge are externally understated, but elegantly appointed inside. The service...

It is fantastic that you felt “off the grid”, but comfortably so and we look forward to welcoming you back to The Ranch.

My husband and I enjoyed a six day vacation at the Ranch at Rock Creek in August 2014. After researching several other ranches in MT and WY, we made our decision to head to Big Sky country for some R&R. Great choice, wonderful trip! Our lodging was in the Loft, the upper level of the Historic Barn, which featured a...

The Ranch at Rock Creek provides a marvelous, although expensive, Western experience. There are well organized activities (e.g., fishing, shooting, biking) for travelers, with or without children. The food is great and the service outstanding. The chef and sous chef are excellent as is Shannon, the bartender. The only negatives I could think of are that the nearest town, Philipsburg,...
