This motel is very unsanitary through-in and through-out. Carpets are filthy, smell is nauseating, dead bugs & flies in light fixtures/window sills, plumbing fixtures are chipped and stained and the water is unfit for human consumption. It's too bad the health department doesn't inspect motels/hotels like they do restaurants because this place simply is not fit for occupancy.

The nasty lady behind the desk made it clear she had no interest in being hospitable. After our brief encounter I got in my vehicle and drove the 97 additional miles to Glasgow just to avoid her. My advice, keep on going.

First off, we're talking about Scobey Montana. Very small town in the middle of nowhere with almost nothing ever happening of size, so this is the reality of this hotel. I don't mean this in a negative way, rather, a realistic way. My room was very plain. Smelled of old smoke with burn marks noticeable, even though the room was...

This place is lacking in a lot of things. The front desk person was rude and non- caring at check in. She put me in a smoking room, even though the reservation was non- smoking. The internet only worked occasionally during my stay. Its a beat up local hotel that has poor management. The problem if you staying Scobey, there...

This is one of two hotels / motels in Scobey. I've stayed here twice. It's definitely dated, but it's not that bad. The beds and pillows are comfortable. There is a microwave, mini fridge, and in room coffee. The free wi-fi is decent enough for streaming. The staff is super friendly.

The room was super dirty. We had to CLEAN OUR OWN ROOM. We stayed for 2 nights and when we returned to our room the cleaning service didn't even touch our room. When I complained management took of a measly $10 of the total of the bill....definitely not worth $95/night. Take a look at the too of the lamp. How...

I stayed here for a week and it was really the only option in Scobey besides a scary looking place up the street or staying in a hotel in another town an hour away. It got off to a rough start when I found the toilet seat covered in urine and a used band-aid on the floor. However, the bed...

Basic, but great for stop-overs, or short family visits. Nice to have the newer flat screen TV, and mini-fridge. Convenient restaurant for dinner is just across the parking lot. Staff have been friendly and helpful at each visit.

I stayed one night at the Cattle King. The woman at the main desk was quite friendly and made me feel at home, as she accommodated my specific requests. She took time to orient me to Scobey, with her western hospitality. She was home grown. This town and motor inn is rough, but friendly. The bathroom was clean and everything...
