We researched this facility long and hard before making arrangements for a two night stay during the last week in August - 2013. We were not able to get the on line reservations to work so we called the facility to arrange a two night stay for two during the last week in August 2013. We settled on Whispering Pines...

We spent 4 nights in mid August at Pine Edge 2. It was a great value for the area and it was great having a full kitchen area so we could bring our own food. It was very quiet and a great location if your primary interest is a fairly isolated area away from lots of tourists and if your...

We just returned from Silver Gate and stayed in Cabin #3. It was everything that Doug told me. We stayed a week and did not want to leave. It is a great location to stay to see the northern part of Yellowstone. The staff was awesome. Nice and friendly and willing to help. I would suggest these cabins to everyone....

Very nice property to complement the Yellowstone experience. The cabins are not only quaint and charming - but they are also squeaky clean. Each cabin has a nice front porch with a grill & 2 lounge chairs that look out onto the mountains. The staff is friendly & very helpful, plus they are super knowledgeable on both Yellowstone & the...

Our cabin was charming. it has a full kitchen. They provide a modest amount of utensils and dishes/bowls. The mountain views from our front porch were spectacular. The owners / staff were very helpful - e.g. setting up their own spotting scope in the yard outside the store so guests could view bighorn sheep on the mountains behind our cabin....

This place is properly full of rustic charm and isn't luxurious but was nonetheless a good find and very good value. We only stayed one night so literally only used it for sleeping but the cabin had a full kitchen and a BBQ on the porch so is well equipped. The town is tiny - just one road close to...

What a neat, cozy town at Silver Gate! We stayed in cabin 7, and was very surprised of the room it had. The beds were so comfortable! Woke up to a beautiful deer in the backyard. Great little restaurant across the street, great place!

If you are travelling with family, these cabins are great. We stayed in the Back Cabin, which has 2 bedrooms and a kitchen, and it was perfect. The people at the General Store that run the cabins are very helpful too. Try the Log Cabin restaurant across the street - one of the best meals we had on our trip!...

I read reviews and booked this for it's proximity to Yellowstone and regardless of other reviews, we loved it. We stayed in Whispering Pines #3. First, let me say if you are looking for luxury don't stay here. On our 19/20 day road trip we stayed in a variety of cabins to hotels from $60 to $280 and this was...

We stayed at the "School House" cabin at the Silver Gate Cabins in Silver Gate, MT. We made this our base camp for the week of visiting Yellow Stone National Park during the first week of July. The cabin was very comfortable, it was clean, and we enjoyed it very much. The bed was comfortable. The price of the cabin...
