We were very happy with our stay on this visit! The remodel has kept the charm and the history of the area alive. The hotel was originally built to show off to the people traveling through the area by train and the staff has kept this tradition by offering champagne and hot towels at check in. Breakfast was extremely prompt...

Do NOT stay here unless you want to party! We visited in late August and were blasted with karaoke music from the bar below us until 1 am. We were very disappointed as we had a fabulous stay when it first opened and found it a grand hotel with a fine restaurant, beautiful furnishings, and a welcoming ambiance. Our August...

It is true, we do have live music on Friday and Saturdays and sadly due to the historic nature of the hotel, sounds can be heard from the first floor rooms. I do apologize that this wasn't communicated well enough to you as we do our best to inform guests of this prior to arrival. We continue to book these...

My husband and I wanted a quick trip for relaxing before our baby is due. The hotel was beautiful and my husband enjoyed the complimentary champagne upon arrival, but trying to relax at night was difficult. When I booked the room the front desk explained how a room on the first floor might be noisy due to the live band...

It saddens me to hear that you did not find the hotel relaxing, especially as a mother to be. Due to the historic nature of the hotel, our walls don't contain the construction or insulation of modern hotels. We do offer earplugs for this reason, however I know that doesn't change your experience with us. If you find yourselves in...

As frequent travelers to historic hotels and inns, my husband and I were surprised to be very disappointed in the Sacajawea Hotel. Of course, we expected quaint surroundings and smaller rooms at this historic property than a large hotel, but the on-line photos of the hotel are very misleading. We had reserved very far in advance a room with two...

First of all, thank you for taking the time to write a review as they are very important to us to make changes and improvements. I'm disturbed by your treatment as this is not the way we treat our guests and it will be addressed with the staff. We have made changes to our breakfast tags to include the option...

Who would ever expect a town the size of Three Forks to have a genuinely luxurious hotel. We were blown away by this place! Historic building, lovely furnishings, great restaurant upstairs and bar downstairs, plush towels and robes, breakfast in bed, complimentary champagne that we enjoyed on the wide front porch, need I say more to convince you? For the...

An unexpectedly crowded homecoming weekend led us past our normal destination to Three Forks, Montana. We were able to obtain the last two rooms in the area, and what a pleasant surprise. A delightful 100 year old property converted into beautiful hotel with extraordinary comforts and attention to detail. An inviting veranda with flowers and porch rockers lead to a...

My wife and I signed up for the Sacajawea Fly Fishing package which includes one night at the hotel and a day on the river with a guide. The hotel was great as always and the dinner at the hotel was fabulous. The highlight though was the day we spent on the drift boat with the guide. Tom at Territory...

From the first encounter with staff at the hotel to our checkout, everything was perfect. My husband dropped in to make reservations for our anniversary, and Liz was very helpful. Dinner reservations were made as well. When we arrived, Jennifer wished us a happy anniversary, then gave us a complimentary glass of champagne. (Apparently everyone checking in gets one!) Sipping...

As we pulled up, the sight of The Sacajawea took my breath away, it was just as beautiful as the online pictures promised. It was meant to have a starring roll in our month long trip to Montana, Wyoming & South Dakota, I planned it so we stayed here after the parks (Yellowstone & Grand Teton) a chance to catch...

When a turn of the 20th Century building is fully renovated, so the bathroom fixtures are 100% working and beautiful, with a bear claw bathtub, and the tile floors are flawless, then "old" is truly charming and warm and not seedy. This old hotel wreaks of history, like so many buildings in Montana - but they have put all the...
