One of us had wanted to visit Virginia City since not having had the time to do so on a trip to the area 20 years ago. We had looked long and hard before choosing the Gingerbread House cabins and now really rather wish we hadn't. Not that the experience was bad, it wasn't but it wasn't great either. Upon...

Our party of five booked both cabins on a recent road trip. Karen is a lovely individual. The cabins are clean, modern, comfortable. The minimalist breakfast was just right. This was our second stay and I would stay there again. Recommended!

We stayed two nights because we wanted to explore the area. We stayed in the Calamity Jane cabin which is a one bedroom cabin with a queen bed and loft. The cabin has an adjoining cabin with a shared door that locks and has its own entry if you have a bigger group. All the amenities were included, hair dryer,...

The Gingerbread House Bed and Breakfast is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. I am so glad I found this little Gem on the internet. I research extensively before I make any decisions and this B and B did not disappoint in any way...in fact it exceeded all of my expectations. I stayed upstairs in the...

Hi there, Leslie. You are a guest that has the most gusto about traveling that I have ever met. You certainly didn't leave one stone unturned while you were here! If only you lived closer you could be head of our Chamber of Commerce. Thanks for your kind remarks. I certainly appreciate my contact with you here at the B&B but...

Such a charmingly wonderful experience here! Karen really knows how to add personal touches that made our stay memorable, comfortable, and delightful! I wish we could have stayed longer (one day/night out of our two week journey). It was so quaint, and just a block from town...perfect nook as if it were out of a book...

The Gingerbread House is the most gorgeous bed and breakfast I have ever seen. The attention to detail in the home itself and in the service is outstanding. This is the most clean and elegant place to stay in Virginia City.

We arrived in Virginia City needing a place to stay, and were extremely lucky because of a cancellation that Karen had two vacancies. The facilities are first class, the location is ideal, and Karen is a gracious host. We enjoyed talking with her about her experiences and our visit to the area.

We rented both cabins which are connected. Very comfortable and well stocked for breakfast. Delicious homemade treat in the morning and the owner brought us some fresh fruit also. Located just off the Main Street so easy walking distance. Very pleasant stay.
