Our stay was lovely! We easily booked directly with the hotel at the last minute. Our room was large comfortable quiet and very clean. We are members of CAA so got the best price.
Self- serve continental breakfast cost $8 per person and was very convenient in a very clean dining area upstairs.

The Chateau Fraser is a small pleasant hotel in Temiscouta, a town in Quebec that serves as a useful staging post between Atlantic Canada and Ontario. The rooms are clean and generally quiet (apart from the occasional air conditioner) and come with a lovely big bath. A good breakfast is served on a first floor balcony where all you can hear are the birds and sounds of children playing. Be warned though that most of the rooms are on the first floor and there are no elevators.

Let's hope this type of hotel is able to stay in business. The room was tastefully decorated and well equipped. Several food options are very close by. No pretense here, just excellent service, including a pleasant breakfast site with choices befiitting the era of COVID. A wonderful discovery for us.

Reserved January 5th and they just called me 4 hours before check in to cancel my reservation. This is during the Quebec construction holiday - no availability anywhere!
Do not trust this hotel with your reservation!

Small boutique hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Efficient but unsmiling and not very helpful reception lady. Located in a very nice and quiet village, close to a beautiful lake. Excellent breakfast.

Bonsoir, notre hôtel revêt un certain caractère personnalisé de style auberge. ll est vrai que nous tentons de prendre quelque repos en automne alors que l'achalandage est plus tranquille.

It wasn't the first hotel that came up in our searches but thankfully we chose it anyway. It is well-maintained and very clean. Although we couldn't speak french, that wasn't a problem. The person behind the counter looked to understand what kind of room and experience we were looking for and allowed us to see the room before selecting it. The room was wonderful, quiet, and inviting. The breakfast the next morning was modest yet filling. The croissants were particularly the best we had during our time in Quebec and New Brunswick. Highly recommended that you have this hotel at the top of your list when in this area of Quebec.

Stayed at Hotel Chateau Fraser with a group of 24, all the rooms were lovely, clean and well fitted out. The service was very good and we had a great night there. It is a very short walk down to the Lake and only a 5-10 minute walk to some shops etc. Would definitely stay again

The hotel is in a quiet position of a nice little town by the lake. The room and bathroom were large, very clean and with first quality linen and amenities, including coffee and tea and a refrigerator. Besides the shower in the bathroom there was a jacuzzi in the room. Pity we had too little time there to use it! Breakfast is on a self-service basis with plenty of choice and excellent coffee. Because the common room has a balcony shared with two rooms, one of which was ours, we could actually eat on our own table, our side of the balcony overlooking the lake. All very nice and relaxing. Next morning we went on a eco-beach along the lake. This was also a nice discovery. Altogether a place to suggest for a few days vacation or if you are traveling from the Maritimes to Quebec, as we were.

We have travelled a lot. This is one of the nicest and if it were in a large city, you would be paying $400 a night. What else is there to say? Nice location and pleasant hostess. We have stayed here twice.
