We stayed at the Bears Paw for a weekend break with our two and half year old Tibetan Terrier Flo Friday 25th and Saturday 26th February 2017. The room was a reasonable size and quiet with enough room to put Flo's bed in a place that we didn't fall over it. The bed was comfortable and the room with everything...

We stoped at the area to meet up with some friends for lunch while passing through and found this little gem! All the staff where very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. On arrival we where first met by a friendly young gentleman who showed us to a lovely table. Our drinks order was taken...

Used to be really good - won't bother going again Lunch 25/02/17 was the "Chargrilled halloumi niçoise salad, olives, blushed tomatoes, fine beans and poached - £9.95" and "Homemade steak and Weetwood Ale pie, silver skin onions and button mushrooms, hand cut chips and garden peas - £14.50" My wife had the salad and to be fair doesn't eat a...

This was the first visit for some of our party of five and we were looking forward to an evening meal on a Friday night. Coming from outside the area it is not the easiest venue to find but it did look great from the outside and the inside decor was just about right. The atmosphere was nice and all...

I came here for some tea for the first time the other night and I'll definitely be visiting again. The food was excellent as was the service. A real cosy place, could have stayed there for hours. Thumbs up from me 👍🏼

After visiting friends in Conwy I was looking for a suitable pub for lunch on the way back to Cirencester and chanced upon the Bears Paw. The food, ambience and service was outstanding! - it's always a good sign when you are asked how you like your roast beef cooked, and it was a lovely cut of meat. Together with...

Interesting approach, and a larger than expected building, whic was good in terms of space between tables, but also resulted in slightly odd table positioning. The staff were kept very busy and as a result service dipped from the level of it's sister pubs. The starter was good albeit served on dangerously hot plates, whic had the effect of drying...

Many thanks for your 5* review, following your recent overnight stay with us at The Bear's Paw.
