Had early evening meal here with family, lovely décor and friendly staff and outstanding food with an excellent and varied menu. Does get busy so best to book a table to avoid disappointment. We had three courses an da couple of drinks each for a very reasonable price. The crème brulee dessert was amazing!!

We arrived from Manchester but unfortunately hadn't booked a table. The manager? although full and very busy re organised the bookings and squeezed us in. We had a gorgeous lunch, the turkey Christmas meal was the best I've eaten. Thanks for finding us a table, excellent food and very friendly service and we'll definitely be back.

My wife and I plus my mini Schnauzer Alfie stayed here over the Christmas period. The pub is a dog friendly establishment. Throughout the stay, the staff were always helpful. The food we had was very well presented and tasted excellent. The accommodation was roomy and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend a visit to the Bears Paw.

I come here often. I get that we live in an affluent area but £15 for a cheese burger with a poor quality seeded bun and an hour wait on a quiet evening! Not good enough guys. You're slipping on quality and service.

We visit the Bear's Paw at least twice a year and I always look forward to it - such a lovely welcoming pub and at Christmas, the decorations are beautiful! The food here is excellent, never had a bad meal here and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The Christmas special of 2 or 3 courses was so good...

It's just didn't manage to get 5 stars this one. The food was on the dot and the the company was ace but the only thing that lacked was the service. During our time there no other drinks were offered and the food took a reasonable time to arrive without explanation. Don't get me wrong when the service did arrive...

The Bears Paw is a cracking country pub in a lovely setting. There is a good selection of drinks and the menu never fails to please. We had Christmas dinner which was lovely!
