Mondello Design is the best B&B that we have ever stayed in. Book it today! You won’t regret it! Roberta wakes up and bakes the most amazing pastries. And espresso and cappuccino every morning! She is so friendly and informative. She will arrange excursions and make reservations for dinner. You will never meet a sweeter, nicer host. There is nothing she won’t do to make sure that you have the best vacation ever. The rooms are so clean and well equipped. They have everything that you need. Even slippers! We had a lovely balcony where we sit and drink Prosecco before dinner. Mondello is 2 blocks to the beautiful turquoise beach. I never wanted to leave!

BnB Mondello Design will have you feeling like you’re on vacation immediately. Roberta is a warm, enthusiastic, caring, and attentive host, and her summer villa is charming and just minutes from the beach. From the luxurious bed, to comfortable shower and bathroom, quaint and tranquil balcony, and the softest towels ever, the BnB is a perfect match for those trying to have fun and relax. Roberta’s breakfasts are also an experience to look forward to; serving freshly baked homemade pie, cake, muffins, along with a delicious spread of local delicacies like sandwiches and sfincione, it’s a meal you will be excited for every day. She is always prepared with cool water and a coffee maker on deck, as well as made to order omelets and crepes. Thank you so much Roberta for your hospitality. Robert goes above and beyond to help with things like reserving us a taxi service, dinner reservations, and lots local recommendations. I would definitely return again.

We were warmly welcomed by Roberta and she showed us our beautifully furnished room.
We traveled with a small child (20 months) and were lovingly supported. They prepared breakfast half an hour earlier for our little early riser. The breakfast buffet includes lots of homemade, delicious cakes, sandwiches, etc. Roberta served 2 homemade, delicious cakes every day, which you could also eat in the afternoon.
The beach is not far away, which is great for families with children.
There are also bicycles available for free.
Roberta also organizes transport to and from the airport, makes reservations in restaurants and is happy to help with excursion and restaurant tips.

If I could give this bed and breakfast a 10 star and beyond, I surely would. Our stay here was absolutely awesome!
The owner/hostess Roberta is an exceptional and kind lady who enjoys what she does and makes you feel at home. We had a warm welcome upon check in and she took her time to review places of interest, things to see and the best restaurants. She always ensured you were happy and comfortable, and was always available for any questions or requests.
Her talent in baking deserves an award! The aroma of her freshly baked cakes and cookies greeted us each and every morning! Breakfast was one of the highlights of our day. Delicious cakes, cereals, cookies, muffins, fruit, breads, jams, a variety of teas/coffee and every kind of omelette/eggs made upon request. Roberta was always present and available to talk to us about our plans for the day and made thorough suggestions of things to do.
Our room was the luxury quadruple room and had a balcony, large windows facing the beautiful garden and was impeccably clean. The bed was a king sized bed and was extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was the Cadillac of all air conditioners and was quiet yet excellent! The bathroom had top notch high-end toiletries, a rain shower with excellent pressure (the best shower I’ve had in Italy), very roomy and spacious with well-lit mirrors, and an excellent blow dryer. The fridge had water bottles that were free and refilled every day.
Location was perfect! Central yet away from noise (where you can have a good night sleep and relax) and a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach and 20 minutes by car to Palermo. Before going to the beach, we would get our take out lunch, at our favourite stop, Alba Beach Restaurant which was only a 2 minute walk from our hotel. The free public parking was a plus!
Overall, Mondello Design was a great base to explore the the island such as Monreale, Castellammare del Golfo, San Vito lo Capo and CefalĂą. Service was prompt and our room was always cleaned exceptionally! High attention to detail and always available. Grazie mille, Roberta!
