We travel cross country 4 times a year with our dog. We are always looking for clean "mom and pop" motels. This winter this was a welcome stop. The room was clean (though I HATE bedspreads). The shower had a needle like spray which went everywhere except through my thick hair so it was pretty difficult to get my hair...

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. In western Nebraska, off the freeway, is a wonderful small motel. Folks here are super nice. Room was very comfortable, had a recliner, nice TV, heater worked. Drive up in front of room. Well lit outside.

My Husband and I were on a cross-country road trip with our 2 large dogs, and after a while of driving all you are hoping for is a relaxing stop, not out of the budget, and no hassles. Thankfully we have found Motel Kimball. You know it can be a hassle when traveling and traveling with dogs is twice the...

Stayed the night while traveling. There was a hail storm coming and they suggested we move our car to a nearby sheltered area. That's service you don't see often. Rooms are Clean, spacious and even packets of shampoo. The bed was comfortable. I would certainly come back again.

It looked great when I seen it on the internet. Nice old fashion hotel that we roomed in the sixties. The room was okay. We pulled up to the front of the room and parked the car. the manager left to do something and said if we needed any body call the number on the door. We didn't see anybody...

Stayed for a local weekend event. The 60s style room was clean, with adequate space. Nice on-the-wall HighDef TV with cable. A writing table and two chairs. Also a refrigerator and microwave. WiFi was very good, once you ask for the security code. Check-in went fine. The owners request payment in advance for the room, no problem. It was a...

Thier motto is " No frills or lace, just a comfortable place". I would add a CLEAN comfortable place" It is a little worn, but well maintained. You would've found this type of motel all over the country in the 1950 & 60's, before the interstate highway system. It has a few modern items like satellite T.V. & free wifi!...

Motel Kimball is just what you hope to find along the Nebraska Lincoln Highway Historic Byway. It is right along this historic road, right across the street from Gotte Park with a walking path. Ample parking, clean rooms, comfortable bed. Quiet after the highway slows down at dark. Great customer service, friendly staff and super reasonably priced! If you are...

My bicycle companion and I were on a 540 mile bicycle/camping adventure and sought shelter at Motel Kimball instead of camping because of storm warnings and experienced customer service beyond measure along with a clean and comfortable room. The good night's sleep and home made cookies the next morning provided by the hotel manager got us to our next night's...

Very friendly. They try really hard. But in 80 degree weather the room air conditioner did not keep up. Park with swimming pool across the street came in handy for our family. We were there as stranded motorists due to motor trouble on I80.
