Having arrived late for a one night stay we received a warm welcome. Room offered excellent amenities including extra pillows and a safe. Also a generous supply of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Recelved a friendly greeting in the morning and every breakfast time item was offered to us. The cooked breakfast was truly amazing. Very accommodating hosts,...

The Sunday lunches here are highly recommended. If you're feeling hungry your sure to come out of here feeling more than satisfied. The selection for Sunday roasts is excellent and the selection of vegetables amazing. The deserts are always changing on the chalk board. Plenty of choice for drinks from the well established bar adjoining. Please book before you go....

The menu is very 70's, with fish, grill and a couple of veg options. Being veggie I ordered the veggie lasagna, my bf ordered the mushroom stroganoff. I think both were supposed...

I stayed here from for 1 night when visiting eleven arches to see the final performance of Kynren. We stayed in a family room (3 adults) at a cost of £65 including breakfast. Normally we stay at premier inns etc so I did wonder what this pub/hotel would be like for the price. We were very impressed. Extremely friendly and...

Very much a local pub/hotel. We stopped here for Sunday lunch. The staff were very welcoming, cheerful and helpful and the place clean. The lunch was enormous. The main course of pork, beef or chicken, all came with 2 Yorkshire puddings, gravy and a large dish of 6 fresh veg. You couldn't beat this quality at the price of only...
