This place was an incredible find. We would stay here again in a heartbeat - and we hope we get that chance! The main attributes are: 1) George! The owner - born in Toronto, Canada, moved back to Greece when he was 7 - is a real entrepreneur and a gifted and very service-oriented and passionate hotelier. 2) George's staff....

We stayed in Faris hotel for 3 nights during our visit in Pelopones and we were all amazed! The accommodation was in spacious and really nice rooms, the hotel only has 10 rooms so it is not a busy one. The breakfasts and diners consisted of freshly, mostly home made dishes, everything was really tasty! You should come at least...

I stayed In Faris hotel for one night, for a visit in Liantina, a village close to Saint Golas village. The venue has a unique location, under Taigetos mountain, with a spectacular view. Food is also great and sleeping is so nice and quiet.

We ate here last week and the food was excellent . Judging by the very clean public bathrooms , I would have to assume that the rooms are also nice. If you think you will find hot water in the public bathrooms in Greece , this is one of the very few that you would be correct . Especially in...

We stayed for one night at the Hotel Faris. It sits atop a remote mountain top - good thing we had GPS or we may have never made it! Hotel is recently built and the owner George super friendly. Rooms are very spacious and because it sits almost at the peak of a mountain it has spectacular views from all...

We rented three rooms in May to be near my Greek father in law's village and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is a marvel of local stone construction and George is a superb host. Our four-year old daughter, Viviana, loved running and dancing on the hotel grounds in the shadow of the Taygetos mountain, finding butterflies, picking wildflowers. Breakfast...

We liked this place, which we visited at the end of September 2010. It is not fancy but was clean and comfortable. The highlights of this place are: 1) The views. Up on the mountains it is looking over the highest peak of Taygetus range. 2) The host George Kokkoros. He built the place and operates it. In the evening...

2nd trip to Faris Hotel, and got lost again!! Roads up to hotel are narrow and winding and a bit nerve wracking, and if it was not for George's own signs on route, you could quite easily think you were going the wrong way towards the end, but once you drive up and see the place it is well worth...
