We arrived at the Atomic Inn about midnight. We had been warned that if we arrived after 10 PM, there was a $10 charge (for someone to man the office that late). It would have been close to 10 PM if we had driven straight from Las Vegas after leaving the airport, but we decided to stop and get something...

It is very simple motel you might not like when see it first. But it is still the best out of just a couple of suchlike in the city. I would dare to say, the best one and most reasonably priced within 50 mile radius. The next Starbucks is somewhere dozen miles away. But, you will be surprised how good...

It's old, it's different, but it was very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. Skip the high price accommodations of Death Valley with very little variety of food available and try out the Atomic Inn. Very reasonable and cheap gas and very good food nearby. And variety of restaurants. Plus small casino nearby as well. KC's restaurant so good we...

I arrived during a severe windstorm and in less than pleasant conditions. The owner of the Atomic Inn did her best to make good of a bad situation. Due to hazardous trees due to the stong winds she moved me to a different room than planned, which I expect was not one of their best. And then there was no...

I've stayed in a lot of family-run, roadside motels over the years, and this is one of the better ones. The décor revolves around themes of Death Valley, nuclear testing in the desert, and space aliens (think area 51). It is very clean, tasteful, and more than adequate. I had a great night's sleep - good internet service, microwave and...

We were treated well. The room we had was clean and comfortable. It seemed more like an apartment than a motel. We will be back soon! When I checked out, I left some things behind in the office. They are nice enough to keep them for me until I come back. The best part of our stay was how quiet...

The place is cute and kitschy, the nighttime staff was very friendly and helpful, and the bed was comfy. The room was very clean. The furniture looked like it came from a thrift store- nothing wrong with it, just dated (and not in a 50s "atomic" way). Fun wall art and a nice, cheap spot to base Death Valley adventures...

If you want an experience as real as Death Valley, give Atomic Inn a try. They take beautiful care of the grounds and the people working there are friendly and helpful. The rooms fit old style California desert, which is perfect for it being located so near the entrance to Death Valley.

This Inn was somewhat of a diamond in the rough, so to speak. I loved the retro theme of the place. The beds were clean and the rooms spacious. The staff were polite and nice. There's a little creek that runs behind the hotel with wildlife around it. It was a perfect location for our roadtrip from Vegas. The views...

We really liked the Atonic Inn. Staff was super friendly and they were pet friendly. Rooms were updated and clean. No coffee in room but they offered coffee in the Office. Would defiantly stay here again
