We were not sure what we would get at this hotel but it was a great place to stay! Clean, large rooms. The a/c was noisy and not really working. The guest laundry was in another building and on the afternoon we arrived there was no change available at reception but we managed to get our washing done regardless. Breakfast...

We stayed at the Plaza Hotel during our family vacation to Carson City and Virginia City. The room was clean and of good size. There was a nice table and a couple of chairs. It also have a tiny kitchenette with a sink, mini-fridge, and cabinets. A flat screen TV was also in the room. The furniture was older but...

We stayed at the Plaza Hotel March 27. After reading previous reviews, we didn't know what we would get, but decided we could handle it for one night. Yes, it is an older hotel, but it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were greeted by a very pleasant lady at the front desk and the staff was...

Plaza Hotel in the middle of Carson City was a pleasant surprise. The rate was very low and we weren't expecting anything very nice and only needed a quiet place to sleep for a couple of nights. It turns out the place is clean, it was very quiet on the side away from the highway, the bed was comfortable and...

We stayed here on 30th and 31st Dec as part of a longer two week road trip around California. We used this hotel as a base to explore Lake Tahoe and found it ideal for what we needed. Ideally we wanted to stay closer to Tahoe but as it was New Years Eve, we found everywhere in South Lake Tahoe...

We visited the Plaza Hotel in August 2014 for a one night stay. This hotel is definetly on the older end of the spectrum. This property has about 4 or 5 different units. So not all the rooms are in one building. As far as I could tell most of the units needed some TLC. Our unit had stairs heading...

I dont know why this place gets so many bad reviews!? It's very nice w vaulted ceilings and plenty of room. Staff was great. Such a sweetheart at the front desk, ms. Janet. Great breakfast. Great location and even a little library. It's perfect for the price. I'd recommend it to everyone who isn't a total uptight snob. :)

The Plaza is my "go to" hotel in Carson City. It is much more reasonably priced than the "brand name" hotels uptown. While The Plaza is certainly not a luxury hotel, the rooms are well-furnished and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great, right in the middle of town, so access to everything is...

A bit old and out of style but not so bad. Of course all colors and wallpapers are out of style but it was clean and the bed was as good as you could expect. The staff was really nice. All in all a bit pricy but not the worse hotel I've stayed in.

I booked the room through Priceline for $60 a night so what do I expect. 3 stars on Priceline and decent reviews with nice pictures. What I got was completely different. Dim light in the bathroom and when I complained they replaced with an equally dim bulb equal to about a 15w light. The small refrigerator has duct tape holding...
