The room was nice enough, but overpriced considering there was no fridge or microwave, the ice machine was broken (and looked as though it had been that way for some time), and the clerk told me to go buy ice at a convenience store (which also had no ice). There were no water cups in the room, the TV was stuck on one channel, and the 40-watt bulbs in the bedside lamps were too dim to read by. "Breakfast" consisted of coffee (no juice or milk) and stuff wrapped in plastic (no fruit, yogurt, etc.). For the price I paid, I expected better--especially since I've stayed here a couple of times in the not-so-distant past when the prices were lower and the quality was higher. I probably won't be staying here in the future.

This little motel was cheap (under $60), with a nice clean room, good queen bed, bathtub with hot water (a must for me!) and a good breakfast. However, "free Wifi" was abysmal and good breakfast items ran out quickly and were not resupplied so didn't quite meet the number of guests for memorial day weekend. Not a bad experience but there are other motel options in Ely at about same price.

Night clerk said the “Computer system is down”, and they had no way to confirm our reservation. I paid for the night in cash, then a week later they charged my credit card from the original reservation too. This is a BARE MINIMUM Motel. Don’t trust them.

We are used to staying in budget motels but this one took the cake. The only chair was broken, there were no washcloths and no staff in the locked office, just an envelope with our name taped to the door. The ice machine was broken and our 'blankets" were mattress pads! When we went to get a cup of coffee in the morning they were out of cups. The bathroom was clean and the beds were OK but the rest was dismal. The outside looks unkempt like an abandoned building. Would never go back.

If you're coming into Ely from the east you'll see from the signage that there are two Magnusons. Though if you see someone who looks like a dead ringer for The Guy from HBO's "High Maintenance" you're probably at the wrong one (and breathing a sigh of relief on learning that, as it looks pretty run-down) The Park Vue stays true to hotel-court "roots", where maybe 50 years ago you'd roll into town and that's what everything was. But hey, it's COVID-ERA now and that's apparently forced a few changes, like a bit of diminishment in the breakfast offerings. Also, the ice machine was broken in a not-sure-it's-temporary sort of way, which is a ding. Room was OK though a bit tired in places, like with a carpet stain or two and the sink/shower appearing to have gone quite some time without an update. TV selection was pretty good, including enough channels to get MSNBC. And Korean baseball on ESPN, with the crowd cut-outs behind home plate and canned audience noises. What could be more Covidian than that? The lady at the counter was nice, though I had only the initial interaction. Location is a plus, as you can walk to the downtown casino or two (or a bar), tie one on, head to the Big 4 for a happy-ending massage, drink some more and not have to get behind the wheel for any of it. Though all that's mostly a fantasy with the virus shutdowns hobbling it while I was there. You'd have to settle for Denny's. (Also, the lone 420 dispensary isn't in walking range). So overall I'd say it's 2-stars at best on standards and not the place you'd go if wanting something at or near the top of the market, but if you're looking for something budgety and can get a decent deal then it should be in the hunt.

I took pictures in my phone since we are tourist. Then the front desk at this hotel ask me if I took pictures, I said yes then she ask me if she can see it, when she has my phone she started saying things like she thank god she caught me taking pictures and bad things then deleted the pictures in my phone without asking permission.. i mean first of, she does not need to tell me like I am sneaking taking pictures (I dont know) she was like talking like a committed a crime, second she should not touch my cellphone like that deleting the files. I mean we have a lot of luxurious hotels in our place and she should not treat like I will die just to have a picture of this ugly hotel. MY GOD! That lady really got into my nerves!!! I Swear, I will call a police in this lady if not only it will ruin the vacation!

We picked this hotel because we were on vacation with our Puppy! We had no reservation and were welcomed with open arms. The room was spotless & the King Bed was comfortable! We will be staying here again on the way back from San Tan Valley later this month.

This a nostalgic ‘blast to the past.’ Reminiscent of the motor inns Growing up. Wonderful owners who are helpful and kind. Tasty continental breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Would stay there again when in the area.

We weren't expecting much as this was just a pit stop. It was very clean with comfortable beds, a fridge, and a microwave. Continental breakfast was offered we did not indulge. The wifi had pretty good speed.

We found this motel to be reasonably priced and offered clean and comfortable rooms. It is located close to restaurants and the casino . They offered a Continental Breakfast in the morning. We would stay there again.
