I stayed here June 2016, and would like to recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. At $63 for a semi-remodeled (I think fully remodeled is $73) room, it is definitely a good deal. Ate at the restaurant which had decent food. There's a lot of history here if you're interested. Also recommend visiting the Ordnance Museum up the block. Very...

Just got back from the Memorial Day weekend. We stayed at the El Capitan using this as our base camp for a group 4x4 trip. The rooms were very clean and large they have just completed remodeling the rooms. So very comfortable beds and all the things that you need for a good stay. The restaurant is very good, but...

I only stayed at this place because I was with a friend who mistakenly heard that it was a great place... He was absolutely wrong. The motel would have been a good deal at $35 -$45 maximum. As it was, they wanted $81 plus tax for a single person. If you like paying a lot and getting a little, this...

We stay here at least once a month. With the new remodel the rooms are really good. The front desk is always fun, nice ,and helpful. For Truckers delivering to the base and staying till monday the $33.00 per night cant be beat. Right behind the Casino wich by the way is under remodel as well. Luck to You.

For an older room it is very cozy. It has a microwave and refrigerator. I can't give more than average because it is pretty average rooms with holder furniture. I also noticed they are in the process of upgrading. If use this property in the future, which I will. I do recommend.

Every other time we stay here it is either good or bad! This time was bad! The room was filthy...just gander behind the enormous piece of furniture that houses the dinky TV or look at the carpet or smell the too strong perfume scent of the room deodorizer! The carpet should be replaced with laminate floors and try cleaning the...

I don't know about the newly remodeled room, but the old room I stayed in is just not very good. Bed was old and hard, room didn't smell good (heavy disinfectant, which makes me think that WAS better than the underlying smell). I very seldom give a bad rating or critical review of a business, on this site, but there...

An aging property that is working for your business by remodeling the rooms. The room rates are reasonable. We stayed in an non-remodeled room and saved a couple of bucks. All the amenities were in working order. It felt odd to use an actual key in the door. If staying in Hawthorne, NV this would be a good choice.

We found this place on line and we like it. Our room is remodeled with a great walk in shower and flat screen TV. We found it handy to downtown and kind of funky old Vegas style. The staff was helpful as we were an early check in. We'll stay here again.

The rooms that have not been recently remodeled are very dirty. Our room had cigarette burn holes and yellow stains in the comforters. When arriving I wiped the whole place down with Clorox wipes and they were dark brown when I finished. Shower curtain in the bathroom has probably been there for 20 plus years. The smell of the room...
