Great location with proximity to ski resorts with hot tubs and casino. Friendly and clean, I've stayed here multiple times each ski season. Bar and restaurnts off site and on. Pet friendly and right on the lake.

Great location for ski trip as your 15-45 minutes from all the different mountains. Very nice outdoor pools, whirlpools and spa facility. Casino is laid back and not as crazy as the "downtown" action near Heavenly. I have been to this Hyatt many times

We were married at this hotel and thus have an affection for the place. However, during this last visit could see signs of decline. I called ahead prior to check in to confirm rollaway in room (for our tired child) Yes, it is in room. Nope! Checked in and was not in room. As for check in process-I stood in...

We've stayed at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe several times, so can write my review based upon a few stays - both in winter and summer. First off, the property is lovely; nestled in trees with some beautiful views from higher rooms. The pool is great - both in summer and winter. This stay we skied at Diamond Peak, which was...

Nice hotel with a great location. We had a suite with a nice view. The suites are nicely laid out and the bathroom spacious. The hotel staff was cordial, had a few problems with housekeeping but nothing major. To bad there isn't more restaurants in the area, the Lone Eagle Saloon, which is situated on the shores of Lake Tahoe,...

Long time traveler to Lake Tahoe, first time to Incline Village and the Hyatt. Have to say this is my new favorite place. Nice selection of onsite restaurants, free shuttle to Diamond Peak Ski resort right from the resort. Great pool, spa and beach access! My wife loved the onsite spa treatments she got while I took the kids skiing....

Beautiful location, $30 resort fee per day for a pool and hot tub is a bit outrageous. Food is between poor( Cutthroat Saloon) to over the top ( Lone Eagle Saloon) Nice location though. Would never stay there again

This is our third visit to this property, first visit in winter, and it is a winter wonderland! I love the snow everywhere, making the hotel grounds quite magical looking. The room was excellent, and the hot tubs/pools are fun in the freezing cold. The only down side is that people do not observe the adults only signs. Children are...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A spectacular setting on Lake Tahoe’s north shore with 500 feet of private, lakefront beach. Surrounded by towering pines and mountain greenery; 35 miles to Reno/Tahoe Int’l Airport; 40 miles to South Lake Tahoe Airport. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino was recreated in the classic style of a 1920s alpine grand lodge. Exterior renovations of river rock and shingles complement the natural environment with colors echoing the tradition and sense of history of the original homes built in the Tahoe area. Extensive river rock landscaping and two outdoor fireplaces add to the guests' sense of arrival at the "Old Tahoe-Lodge" style entrance. The resort's Grand Lobby boasts crafted stonework, creating a cozy setting amid the warmth of an oversized double-sided fireplace, rich leather chairs and high-beam ceilings. The 421 guestrooms, including 24 lakeside cottages, have been decorated with natural pine, distressed wood, and leather furnishings, reflecting the setting with autumn colors of moss, brick red and wheat. Included in our Lake Tahoe resort's $60 million transformation was the addition of the Spa Terrace, a new three-story wing adjacent to the main 12-story hotel. Offering 138 luxury guestrooms with views of the Sierra Nevada skyline, the addition provides visitors with private balconies and breathtaking lake views. The Spa Terrace replaces the resort's former Aspen Terrace and overlooks the resort's new swimming pools. ... more   less
