ROOM 528.The carpet was red, the chairs were Leopard spots. The ceiling has damage...

Decided to stop here: the sign showed Movie Cars and glad we did, that was cool. The Back to the Future DeLorean car, Fast and the Furious, Grease and many others - great photo opportunity. The place is so vintage, old Vegas and was a nice stop to break up the drive and walk around.

The Gold Strike is an old school casino located about and hour west of Vegas in the middle of the dessert, since you are not in Vegas it doesn't force you to pay the outlandish resort fees. The gaming floor is small but offers a decent variety of gaming options with a decent amount of payouts. The dining options are...

Nothing fancy. Just a bed for the night. It's an older hotel and very dated. Not sure if they have newer rooms. The ones we stayed in looked older than the photos posted online. The one plus was there were no resort fees, like the ones you get in Vegas! The cool movie cars in the lobby were fun to...

We were tired and didn't want to drive into the city so we stopped here. It was average, fairly clean but the rooms were run down and old. Front desk was friendly. Its a good place for a quick night sleep, thats about it.

Stopped to rest midway on a 10hr car trip with 2boys 7&8. Jean is not a vacation spot, <30min south of Vegas. Gold Strike is located just off the I-15s Fwy, adjacent to a Denny's. Booked the room with Denny's breakfast coupons included. Found the room cheapest on CheapTickets <$50 /No Resort Fee, Pkg or wifi fee usually add-on daily...

Our non-smoking room turned out to be much nicer than indicated by other ratings. The smell of cigarette smoke inside the lobby and casino was barely noticeable. There were a few glitches. The tv remote in our room had weak/dead batteries in it. Our room key wouldn't work on the outside north entrance to the hotel.

I have asked our maintenance staff to inspect the north hotel entrance locks. I am sorry about the remote. We change the batteries on a regular basis, but, even then we sometimes have them run down quicker than expected. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the rest of your stay.

On 3/20/2017 we checked into room #548 a Jacuzzi room. Paid over $200.00. The room had only a couch in the living room area. No table, no other chairs. No place to sit anything down on. I turned a ice bucket upside down to place my drink on. No place to eat. The was only one electrical plug outlet in...

Wow.......ln a nutshell this place is a crap hole. Now I Know where Casinos go to die a long painful death. It's true what they say " Don't judge a book by its cover". Rooms are so old I thought I was walking into a museum. I swear the towels where so old they came over on the Mayflower. They...
