I have never stayed here, but it's a must stop on our way to or from Vegas ! It;s like Vegas used to be when I first started going ! Friendly dealers and cocktail waitresses, that are here for good time ! Not just trying to take your money !

If you are on the road and need a cheap room somewhere between Southern California and Las Vegas, this may be your spot. Super small casino. We waited in line for about 25 minutes to check in, which sucks when there is only one person in front of you. No apologies when we got to the counter about the wait....

We stopped here on our way from Vegas to San Bernardino. We booked online and weren't exactly sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise! The hotel was larger than we expected. It was Super Bowl Sunday. We sat down to have a free ($20) drink at the bar. Little did we know that it was karaoke night. The rooms...

We stopped here on our way to Las Vegas. We needed gas and were hungry, and this place had both. The place seemed to be closed from the outside. but there were some cars parked, so we took a chance and stopped there. Cool things: the place had a movie-car exhibit, it was clean, the staff was helpful. The cons:...

From the holes in the sheets to the strips of peeling wallpaper this place was a disaster from the get go. The elevator started & stopped with massive shudders & the noise it made was terrifying. Kept expecting to become stuck between floors or plunge to the basement. Ice machines were filthy & had water pouring from them into open...

The Gold Strike Casino floor was once covered with slot and video poker machines. Now, machines occupy about a third of the casino floor. Nonetheless, I found several hot video poker machines that kept me playing for hours. I hit many quads. My wife hit a Royal. Had I quit while ahead, I would have walked away with a profit....

Traveling to SoCal and my wife was really hesitant to spend a night anywhere than the Las Vegas strip. I'm not keen on the strip because of all the baggage that comes with huge hotel complexes on the strip (resort fees, parking fees, smokey mazes of light and sound confusion). So I finally talked her into trying the unknown.... Gold...

My first time here. Security worked with me to get my motorcycle under cover (rain) and check in went smoothly. Room was quiet, and received one of the upgraded rooms. AC/heat worked well overall lodging was good. Breakfast was free from Denny's (two eggs and choice of Bacon or Sausage) and when I arrived there were two other customers seated....

Some of the reviews mention the renovated wing of this casino. Well I can say I didn't get a room in the renovated section, too bad I didn't look closer at reviews. The room I was given was filthy, it didn't look like the bathroom had been cleaned nor the floor vacuumed since the last (few??) people stayed in the...

Half way between Primm and Las Vegas, why stop here? It certainly is cheap ($49 to $69/night). Note Denny's onsite is only place for food, no free breakfast. Old and dated. Seemed to be home to Truckers (I guess it's a good truck stop?) and tour groups. Check in is crazy - have to go through the Casino hall, so...
