The good: Nice accommodations. Good food. Good service—all to be expected. The bad: I visited for a business event and brought business attire. I wrongly assumed that the dry cleaning services could be trusted. Instead they damaged my $X,000 custom suit and then called to claim no responsibility / no compensation. “The machine cannot do that” I was told. I cannot recommend others to do dry cleaning there for any valuable items you might have.
BEWARE! YOU ARE NOT SAFE! Robbed at Wynn/Encore while sleeping! On November 26 at 1:49am someone entered our room while we were sleeping and stole over 2500 in cash and unknown amount of casino chips when we were most vulnerable! When we woke the next morning and saw our room had been ransacked we immediately called hotel security and the police. LV Metro PD made the Wynn to pull key logs and they showed we entered the room with our key at 12:26am and someone else with a different key entered our room at 1:49am and left our door wide open for 6 hours! We were given 1 key! I am so disgusted with the lack of concern! The resort management and security response is “sorry”; “direct all your questions to Metro PD” Hush hush and get out of here! After 20 years of coming here we will never stay here again! A resort that turns the other cheek when their staff knowingly steals and has apathy toward their decades long loyal guests is despicable!…
We stayed at the Encore Tower Suites and it was so much better then Mandalay Bay which we stayed the night before. The private driveway to the hotel and the private check in area for Tower guests only. Free coffee in the morning at the coffee shop and the hotel is pet friendly. The staff is extraordinary helpful and friendly our room had the view of the golf course and Resorts World. The pool is small but they also have the Beach Club and you can use the Wynn pool. If you stay in Vegas the Encore is a must stay.
Staying in room 2042 at the encore from Thursday-Monday for a long weekend, and every single night there has been loud obnoxious bass blasting out of the club, presumably XS. Looking at other reviews this has been a problem for years and it’s baffling to me that nothing has been done about it. Obviously there are night clubs all over Vegas but no other hotel I’ve stayed in has ever had anything close to this level of constant noise going well into 4AM. What good is a fancy room that you can’t sleep in?
Wonderful stay! Rooms are very spacious and clean. I was given the option of a strip view or desert view. Chose strip view with warning about noise but I didn’t encounter any noise issues. You have access to multiple casinos and restaurants without going outside. Staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the Encore.
Our stay was quite comfortable, large space and good service are highly appreciated by us in this place, but to get the absolute experience, we are not really satisfied. We very much hope in the future you can do better to deliver a good experience for your price !
Where do I begin luxury is everywhere, The best customer service. From the moment I walked in I was blown away. The upscale restaurant the luxury shopping , the beautiful large rooms. The gym/spa is breath taking.
We arrived at Encore on a Tuesday evening at about 9pm to find a fairly lengthy queue at registration, they only had two staff working so it took a while to clear. We upgraded to a Panoramic View King on the 54th floor which turned out to (a) have epic views and (b) be high enough to avoid any noise from XS and the Beach Club on New Years Eve. Turned out to be true, but it also helps that Encore (and Wynn) have triple (quadruple?) glazed windows. Our room was lovely, the “every room is a Suite” is kinda true, it’s basically a large room with a divider, most other hotels would probably call them a Junior Suite. Decor is stylish and understated, not being a themed hotel helps, despite being fairly old and not recently refurbished it still manages to feel modern. Everything (lights, shades, air-con) is controlled from the touch-screen controller by the bed or Alexa. Bathroom is also a good size with a nice soaking tub and double vanity, my only criticism would be the shower which was low, had a poor head and which you couldn’t actually aim downwards. Bed was comfy (if a little soft) and once we were over our jet-lag we slept well. I think Encore has one of my favourite Casino’s, having a glass wall down one side and the use of lighter colours makes it feel open and airy, not dark and oppressive as you find elsewhere. There was good interior design everywhere with tasteful touches, good coordination, no garish fibreglass statues etc. (if you want that, stay elsewhere). Being directly connected to Wynn it’s a fairly easy 10 minute stroll through the connecting corridor and you’ve got all that Wynn has to offer. Bars very were good, we tried Aft (Wynn - outside facing the “lake of dreams” show) and Overlook (Wynn), all good service, good cocktails. Didn’t need to queue despite being there around New Year. Dining wise we tried The Buffet (Wynn), Lakeside (Wynn), Mizumi (Wynn), Allegro (Wynn), Casa Playa (Encore) and Jardin (Encore). Best to worst: Mizumi was very good with a Nobu-like menu service was solid, food tasty. Jardin was good for a solid breakfast, good service, big portions. The Buffet was a bit of a disappointment to be honest, way too busy (lucky we pre-booked, there was a 2 hour queue), food was a mixed bag some was really good, some just a bit stale or tasteless, also drinks are a rip-off and push you to adding the drinks package as it’s the same prices as two drinks. Lakeside was also pretty good, nothing outstanding. Allegro is ok for a quick lunch but feels too open to the Casino so don’t book for a romantic dinner. Biggest disappointment was Casa Playa for which we had high expectations, sadly the food was mediocre (for the price), service was rushed and our server was just annoying and “not too bright”, they just wanted us out a soon as they possibly could and that’s one of my biggest annoyances. Overall I’d say if you can afford it and don’t mind the location stay at Encore, we quite enjoyed the walk up the strip and if not there are always plenty of taxi’s and Uber’s. It’s a lovely property which feels airy, well maintained and friendly. Shout-out to the staff who were always professional and courteous. The addition of Resorts World opposite is a bonus providing more eating, shopping and obviously gambling options.…
Brief review because not much is needed to describe this great hotel and casino. Our suite was gorgeous. My kids loved it (we were there for a family wedding). The bathroom (I have a thing when I’m traveling where I’d like the bathroom to be as nice as my own or better) was solid. The service/concierge/front desk were super attentive and helpful. And the casino didn’t feel grimy like some others. Also, the halls, lobby, and restaurants are great. You feel like you’re in an upscale Vegas vacation. Nothing trashy. Also, fyi- Jardin is great for brunch. But my fave was Delilah. Super hard to get in, but food was good. And the show was super entertaining and sexy.
You expect Vegas to be bad, I get it. But supposed to be best experience in Vegas doesn’t deserve a dime you give them. Everything costs from coffee to movies in the room. Loong Lines at restaurants, smokers everywhere, sloow drink service when you gamble. Machines don’t pay beyond odds. Just don’t go to Vegas, they are trying to make up their loss during Covid.
