We were looking for a dog-friendly hotel. We choose the Westin based on that, and price. The hotel was very nice, the room comfortable and clean. Albert at the front desk was efficient and helpful, even when the hotels computers were down. There is a small dog walk area. I was given a dog treat and poop bag when we checked in. Considering COVID, I wasn't happy paying a resort fee. We never even saw the heated pool and hot tubs that were opened, by our choice. We used none of the "resort" facitilities at the pool or the hotel business center. Albert said our internet was included in the resort fee, although hotels.com led me to belive that WIFI was free. I must say the WIFI was very fast. Premium channels were available on the TV, also "included" in the fee. The beds were clean and comfortable, the shower was also great. There was a pet fee of $15 per night, very reasonable. Room service was available in the evening, and the hotel's bar was also open at night, otherwise no food service except Starbucks in the mornings. Paying extra for parking was required. The area around the hotel didn't offer much, but you could walk a few blocks to the strip for restaurants and activities.

Favorite place to stay in LV while working, a non-smoking, non-gaming hotel with employees who truly seem to care. The proximity to the strip but not the loud, smoky chaos makes this property the perfect location. Breakfast buffet is the best. LOTS of food already prepared to grab and go, or made to order omelettes.. Breakfast crew... led by Marcus.. makes me feel so welcomed. Check in staff and care including Lynn at the desk, made me feel as though my stay mattered.JD.. a bellman so helpful with my things. I so appreciate the entire staff! Rooms are clean, housekeeping doing their part! Thanks to them for making my LV working trips so much better.

My family and I chose to head to Vegas to see the Anita Baker concert and to add to my travel/lifestyle vlog content, which means that we wanted the "Vegas Experience" but not to be consumed by it. We chose the Westin Las Vegas Hotel and Spa because we are Marriott Bonvoy members and because of the reputation of the Westin brand.

This Westin location is perfectly situated within walking distance of the Vegas strip but far enough away to escape the busyness of it all. Being that I vlog my travels on my YouTube page (Coupled and Cultured) I reached out to this location to ask for an upgrade that would give me the best view from the room. I was not disappointed when the manager quickly reached out to me with an upgrade that included a great view of the Linq Highroller Wheel, which is beautifully illuminated at night.

Once we arrived to the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff and a beautiful lobby (with a lobby bar, restaurant, and Starbucks!) Our room was nice, clean, and came with the view that we were promised.

During our stay we took advantage of the spa (The steam room is 1st come, 1st served and included with your stay) and it was beautiful, relaxing, and usefulafter full days of walking around Vegas. We also visited the pool which had a nice, chill crowd on a Saturday! And... I refuse to admit how many times I ordered the Warm Apple Tart via room service (It was DELICIOUS and so was the steak and eggs for breakfast!).

We stayed for 3 nights and when it was time to leave check out was fast and easy. Overall I truly enjoyed my stay! If I'm ever back in Vegas I'd definitely return to the Westin and I also recommend it to my "Coupled and Cultured" followers/subscribers, as well as travelers from my other travel groups! I'll be uploading a full video review of the Westin and Vegas as whole on my YouTube channel (Coupled and Cultured) that will include some video clips as well!

If you're heading to Vegas and want nice accommodations that do you include a casino in the lobby, then this is the perfect place to stay!

This is especially irksome considering I am a loyal Bonvoy member. I got very little sleep last night. Why? Because people were partying in the room next to me until 2 am. I called security and they came and then things quieted down. That’s the good news. The bad news is that I started wondering why there were people partying I the room next to me in the first place. I asked the front desk manager about hotel occupancy. He said it’s 12%. You would think at 12% occupancy that A SMART company would consider that rooming guests in rooms next to each other is kind of like being on a cruise ship. It’s a REALLY DUMB idea—ostensibly to save on cleaning costs at the expense of guest safety. They are herding people on specific floors to increase guest density per floor to save on cleaning costs. This is dangerous. I pointed this out to the manager and he disagreed. Clearly he didn’t care enough to consider guest safety or make any apologies. I will not be staying here again and you should think twice about staying here or any other Marriot or Westin managed property before making a booking decision.

Jeffrey, please allow me to sincerely apologize for any inconveniences caused due to disturbances from other guests on your floor. Our Security team does monitor activity 24 hours per day and I am happy to hear the issue was addressed as soon as you brought to our attention. Since we remained operational during times when many others closed, our approach to COVID-19 safety procedures have been taken very seriously and continue to evolve on a daily basis. We do rotate out the guestroom floors and occupy alternate floors at a time. Social distancing and the wearing of masks in all common areas are heavily enforced with the appropriate signage to communicate this expectation. Sanitizing stations are present in all frequently visited common areas and high touch surfaces are disinfected hourly with hospital grade solutions. Each of our associates get screened prior to arriving for their shift and all have received COVID-19 training. All of the CDC guidelines along with those of our local authorities have been closely followed. If you would like to discuss in further detail, please do not hesitate to reach me directly at kshopnick@westinvegas.com.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The first morning I went to breakfast and I found the hot food was cold. I went at 6am in the morning. I settled on an omellete I knew that would be hot. The staff at the restaurant were great. I declined housekeeping took the green choice which means they do not clean the room. However, if you did want extra towels all you had to do was ask. My room faced the street which I found to be a be noisy. The location is great maybe a 5 minute walk from the strip. The pool was not open . The resort fee includes dessert of the day and I know whiskey tasting. I am not sure what else it includes. There are no slot machines at this hotel.

My husband and I appreciated the excellent customer service we received during our stay from the moment we stepped out of our car to check in. The young Samoan man from the valet who took care of our car when we arrived was very friendly and quick. The staff who offered water bottles to the guests waiting in line to check in was so attentive. I was impressed with the way he asked someone to wear a face covering while waiting in line. He brought it up in a way that was professional yet friendly so that no feelings would get hurt. Clarissa who checked us in was just awesome and took such good care of us. I appreciated the daily check up via text to make sure the room was okay and if anything was needed. Sherwin the bartender from Jake & Eli was another person who was attentive and easy to communicate with. We ordered the filet mignon, spinach ravioli and truffle fries from the bar and they tasted great.

The furniture in the room looked a bit outdated, but the bathroom was modern. Not a fancy hotel but everything was clean and the service from the staff made up for it. We really felt we were appreciated as Bonvoy members. We did not have time to hit the pool, but we got to enjoy the fitness room. FYI, self parking was closed for renovation during our stay so only valet was available. A few hours after we checked out, I received an email from the assistant general manager Nathan who wanted to make sure everything went well during our stay. This hotel really cares about their customers. We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Vegas!

I chose to stay at the Westin because I wanted someplace convenient without being on the strip itself. The good news is that the rooms are typical Westin rooms and very convenient to the strip without a smoke filled casino. Other than that everything was terrible. The person working the desk could not figure out how to configure a key card. She had to seek assistance. The phone in my room did not work. When I wanted to call the front desk I had to use my cell phone. The automatic door to the entrance to the hotel did not work. I won't be back

We have stayed at the Westin Las Vegas over the years numerous times over the years, but not in the last ten years or so. The refurbishment of the first floor receiving area, bar, restaurant, check in counter, meeting rooms...all first class. Location is still very fine given the easy access within 300 yards of he Monorail. Staff is very well trained and focused on the customer; these people really understand the hotel and food/drink business. The truly a fine asset and show that they are treated well. No complaints whatsoever and just a great rating with no reservations.

great hotel, just on the edge of everyting going on, literally a 5 minuite walk to to all the fab casino hotels,
bellagio, cesars palace, flamingo etc, we went in them all and watched the fountains dance to music. Teh night time receptionists wasnt very helpful, no information given just our room key and a point to the lifts, next morning feeling completely refreshed from our lovely room with a view of the big wheel we went to the reception that had daytime staff on, the receptionist was lovely, sorry i cant remember her name but she was really helpful, nothing like the night staff, we explained when we had arrived and was given no info, so she said it wasnt acceptable and explained about the whiskey tasting class that we could go to late afternoon each day, a free sweet each day. and offered us a complementary breakfast for the next day, as this wasnt included in our package, so the next morning we enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast, lots of choices, all the info we needed as in directions to the main strip and where not to walk late into the night, (dark, unlit shortcuts}, all in all a brilliant hotel, lovely and clean, no casino so was lovely and quiet, we would definately stay here again. Thankyou Westin Las Vegas....

Our stay at the Westin Las Vegas was picture perfect! We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The room was beautiful, housekeeping left the room spotless everyday, the staff was so professional and helpful.. no details were missed! We felt so safe as you can easily see how the hotel went through extra lengths with safety and cleanliness protocols during the pandemic which was so appreciated. The beds were so comfortable. Having Starbucks, a bar and restaurant in the lobby were so convenient. My only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. 5 Stars all the way!!
