Needed rooms in Summerlin for a wedding (3 day stay). Red Rock sold out. Rooms were dirty upon check in with standing water in the sink. Linens were not changed during the entire stay. Took 24 hours to rectify the sewage problem with no room...More
I have never stayed at the Element, but after being in Vegas for a wedding and having to put up with a hotel on the strip, Element was truly an oasis for the weary soul. We had two rooms, and were very graciously allowed to...More

Super pleased that you liked your stay and that you were able to rejuvenate. We are glad you have found your new spot "off the strip". We are a 15-20 minute drive from the center of the strip and 15 minutes from Red Rock National...More
On my 3rd trip to Vegas this year, Red Rocks Casino was sold out so I thought this was a great alternative, Especially since I am SPG Member. After 30 minutes I just got horribly sick. I am not allergic to dogs, just cats. The...More

We are glad that you liked the hotel besides the possible cat issue. We don't allow Cats we only allow dogs but I cant say that someone got one past the desk. When we are fully booked it is not easy for us to move...More
Find another hotel. Dirty rooms, dark hallways and GM with a lousy attitude...
If you are in Summerlin, find another alternative...These folks know nothing about service.

A few points. I did not notice more green features other than they have free green element branded bicycles for guest use. I like that. It is really a less green hotel bc they allow dogs and I found myself constantly using paper towels and their towels to wipe off the dog hair which was tracked all over the hotel including my room. Just FYI: President Obama stayed in this hotel a few years ago. There is a newspaper article about why at the front desk on the wall.

Winter hadn't officially started when I was there. However the tempurature was cooler than normal and it was very windy. I tried the pool several times during my stay but the water was to chilly for me coming from Florida. But I agree check with the hotel to see if it's heated during the winter months.
