We stayed here for 2 nights when passing through LV (as we prefer to stay 'off-strip' these days) and had stayed at their sister hotel a couple of times (Aliante in North LV), so decided to go for a change & this hotel looked promising.

We arrived mega early & the room type we had reserved was available but with an early check in fee - usually places will let you in without extra charges, but it was before 10am and so i was happy to pay a surcharge to access the room for the rest of the day (and make use of the facilities). Check in was quick & easy enough, but the lady wasn't over friendly.

The casino is large & has all the usual extras you'd expect (buffets, cinema, restaurants etc) and we were entertained well enough throughout our stay. One of the main reasons I booked was the pool area looked nice (although it wasn't as good as the Aliante) and the rooms were large for the price. Our room overlooked the pool & the neighbouring golf course & was clean, spacious & had a seating area with a sofa, desk, etc. The AC worked fine & kept the room cool and we never heard any noise from any of our neighbours, which is always good!

We spent some time at the pool, choosing to go early on before it got busy, but we were able to get a cabana or other comfy seating no problem, and everything was nice and tidy/clean.

The food was decent and we opted for buffet eating most of the time (as was so cheap) but did also try a meal in the italian/pizza type restaurant, but have to say the quality wasn't much better than the buffet despite the higher prices. I guess that's the case in most casinos, but you're paying for a different eating experience by going into one of the restaurants and don't have to dine amongst the hungry hordes if you don't want to! (Separate reviews for the buffet to come).

I'd stay here again, as well cheap & cheerful, however I'd prefer to stay at the Aliante over this hotel if given the choice. A good off-strip option for those looking for a quieter Vegas experience though.

We stayed here a week for the PBA50 tournament and enjoyed our stay. The room was huge and we enjoyed the separate sinks and dressing area from the shower and toilet. It allowed several people to get ready at once.
There were so many food options in the hotel that we never got tired of the food.

We stayed here this past Thursday. Room was quite large with a large bathroom. The bathroom is separated into two areas - one with two sinks and the other area where the shower and toilet are can be closed off with a sliding door. For those of you who like to chat, there is a corded touchtone phone on the wall next to the toilet. LOL I'll leave that up to your imagination.

The beds were comfortable but the sheets are a bit stiff as they have been ironed. Who does that these days? Anyway, clean and pleasant room for a night stay.

When I first reviewed this resort hotel/casino a few years we could not had a better experience, HOWEVER.... we stayed here again and I am very disappointed.
The staff and the room were great, my major concern was the lack of restaurants to eat at. The awesome Italian restaurant Salvatore's is now closed forever, the Peng Zu Chinese restaurant is not open, the St. Tropez buffet is closed, the Game sports bar/restaurant is closed, The Subway is closed, the ice cream parlor is closed, and the Java Vegas coffee is closed ! also the bagel corner deli has Limited hours. They want to charge $35.00 for an early check-in even though a room is ready. The penny candy machines are now $.50 cents. No valet or Bell service. The Free WIFI is a joke and this is included in your B.S. " resort fee " We are done with this place !

We stayed for 8 nights in September 2021. The lady who checked us in was very personable. She explained the locations of everything in the Casino, ensured that we received the type of room we were supposed to and was very friendly. We ate at Du-Par's several times. The food was always great and the service was even better. We went to a movie and they had the recliners in the theater which is always nice. We went to the pool every day, it was never overcrowded. At this time of year the sun didn't hit the pool until around 1:30, but this gave us time to eat a decent breakfast. The room was clean and overlooked the golf course, a beautiful view. The rooms have a refrigerator which is uncommon for most Casino rooms. A lot of restaurant options nearby. We loved our stay here and will be returning.

Stayed at the Suncoast for 5 nights while visiting family. They advertise renovated rooms, which they seem to be not too old, but the furnishings are cheap/cheesy. Could've been cleaner, but not bad. If we had spent more time there, I would've not been very happy with a few things. When you enter, there is a sign saying Covid check, but there is none. The oyster restaurant is open to the casino and does NOT smell good. Should've enclosed and ventilated. Wanted to do Cosmic Bowling with my granddaughter which is supposed to start at 9pm...but there are leagues that don't leave until 9:30+, so why say it starts at 9pm? Wished they had an option for convenient, self-serve coffee. I did like that parking was free and it was less congested than other places. Bottom line I guess is that in certain situations, you get what you pay for, and our stay is what we expected. We didn't expect the Ritz.

This was our second time staying at the SunCoast; family lives in Summerlin so it’s always a good option for us. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a minor bump as we got assigned a room that has a very strong cigarette smell but called the front desk and Marco was prompt to offer a better room.
For whatever reason the cigarette smell around the lobby seemed stronger than last time we stayed, not sure if the vents are not working or simply not being used.
They have a temperature check and wearing a mask is enforced. Overall a decent place to stay.

I have been in the suncoast for two nights. 1. Be ware of the hidden “resort fee”. These guy charge without clearly explaining it upfront and you gunna face it at checkout (and blaming that the booking third party is responsible to tell it to you) 2. The shower bathtub was clogged and although I notified the room service they never fixed it.

Another great stay at this hotel, unfortunately this time they've added $10 a night to their golf view rooms. The casino fortunately still retains some of the older machines and a large range of the newer (more expensive) video type slots. The Staff at this Boyd casino are great, very helpful and amazingly remember their guests. Bagel corner staff provide great snacks and are ultra friendly. They have not as yet re-opened their Buffet, which is a shame. Apart from being a great hotel, it's location just 10 minutes from Fremont St and within easy reach of all the main routes around and out of the city (for visiting other Nevada areas) makes it an ideal base location. The only downside I can think of (not specific to the Suncoast) is that the Boyd B Connected loyalty program is not as good value for international visitors as it used to be.

Very good cleanliness and careful disinfecting! I always saw someone cleaning, and there was a good supply of hand sanitizer and soap everywhere. i really appreciated that. All of the people who worked there were pleasant and helpful, and the service was great. I was very pleased. We ate in the hotel twice, the food was good, and again everything was clean, distances were good, and people were respectful. Especially nice given that downtown and strip hotels were NOT as clean or accommodating. Plus, the view from our room was so beautiful!

It's Las Vegas, the first two or three floors of every major hotel or resort is going to be casinos, food, and other amenities. If you want first floor lodging you're gonna have to go to a motel or somewhere outside of the strip.
