My partner and I usually come to vegas twice a year, And this time, we brought our friends with us to celebrate my partner’s birthday! It was our first time checking in at Vdara, and we got 3 rooms close to each other, on the 21st floor! My friends and I were all amazed by this hotel, great staff, clean, and the lobby smells fresh! It’s close to almost every places we wanted to go to! It didn’t disappoint! This was my friends first vegas trip too, and they wanted to go back! Thank you for the nice experience!
Am staying here currently and using the conference centre and the environment and ambience is great. Staff are exceptional. Rooms are fabulous. Would love coffee/tea making in the room, but that’s a small note. I wanted to give a massive and special shout out to Mike Philogene who clearly understands and cares about customers and guests. I bought breakfast this morning and struggled back to the lift getting my card out and found my card didn’t work when I got to my room. Had to struggle down again to fix the key, and Mike spotted me and offered help before I’d left the lobby. He escorted me upstairs to my room, tested and checked everything and got tools to fix the lock and new keys. All sorted with no effort from me and so appreciated! I’m here for work and just want to get on with things! I wanted to say a massive thank you for anticipating, for reading my body language and for being so incredibly helpful.…
Beautiful hotel and room with a gorgeous view. In Vegas to get married, we chose this hotel because it was non-smoking with no casino. Extremely quick and easy to get from the lobby to your room due to no casino. Because of location, pickup and drop off of Uber/Lyft are extremely convenient. If you’re looking for a quiet and nice hotel just slightly off the strip, I highly recommend.
Quieter and excellent service, steps from the Aria if you want the activity of the casino. Was in for a weekend soccer tournament with old friends and teammates from college days. Needed quiet for rest between games but also amenities and Vegas fun in the evenings. This place had a great combination of the quiet and cleanliness needed, but had a good lobby bar and quick grab and go food, but also was close to the Aria and other hotels to jump into the action.
We love the Vdara! It is, by far, our preferred place to stay when we travel to Vegas. We love how nice and quiet it is compared to the other resorts. The rooms are always very clean, the bed is comfortable, staff is helpful and polite. It is starting to show its age at times. The wallpaper in our room was peeling a bit in places. Very minor complaint though.
Super classy, super clean rooms, very friendly staff. All rooms have refregirator, microwave, large dining table.Excellent location. It's 7 min walk to Bellagio, 2 min walk to aria, 3 min walk to Cosmopolitan.
We expected this fairly new property to be worth the extra expense over some of the more well known Strip properties (e.g., Venetian). It is part of an MGM complex that includes the Aria hotel and Park MGM hotel. Our challenges began before we even arrived. We prepaid for self parking at the hotel as part of the room reservation process. When we got near the hotel we searched in vain for Vdara self parking. After 20 minutes of circling we called the front desk only to be told there is no parking at the Vdara - the self parking we paid for is at the neighboring Aria hotel. Our $15 nightly fee afforded us the privilege of walking from the garage through the Aria hotel and casino, then outside and around a windy promenade to the Vdara hotel. The hassle factor was almost off the scale. Once in our room, the thought of reversing the process to go to the car dissuaded us from a couple of short jaunts to see sights that we had looked forward to seeing. The room itself was huge. We paid for an upgrade to the panoramic room. It was the size of a small apartment. More than enough room to get lost. However, most of the furniture was tired and worn, and frankly, we didn’t even want to sit on it. The sofa had flattened seat cushions and a torn back cushion. All end tables had signs of heavy use (e.g., nicks and scratches). The blinds were worn and rumpled. The desk had a drawer that would not stay shut. None of the USB outlets would charge, so we had to go buy an additional wall charger block for our USB charging cables. The kitchen had no utensils or plates of any kind. Vegas has changed a lot in the past 15-20 years and not for the better. My advice is, if you have to visit Vegas, consider one of the off-strip traditional interstate motels like Hampton Inn or Hilton Garden Inn, where you can park and easily get to and fro without feeling corralled into the casino trap. This hotel was definitely not worth the cost and the hassle factor. Look elsewhere.…
My wife and I stayed at the Vdara this weekend. It is one of our favorite places to stay in Vegas. Location: The Vdara does not have a casino but it's location is perfect to get to the Bellagio, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Park MGM plus New York New York. The Vdara is mid-strip so Lyft/Uber to other locations is cheap. The Vdara: it's two for the price of one! The Vdara is sister hotel with Aria. A short walk and you are at Aria's magnificent Pools and Spa. Get the Spa pass, it is worth the day fee. The Cafe in Vdara is actually open 24 hours a day. This is rare in strip casinos in modern Vegas. The rooms are great. They are designed with family in mind. A cross between hotel and condo. The weed report is good, there was little to no skunk-juice smell in the hallways and public area, to ruin our stay. There is a fire station in the basement of the Vdara. You will find it when you take the little used staircase and crosswalk to the Cosmopolitan. Front desk staff are kind, friendly and helpful. The Vdara is lower key because it's less known, and does not have a casino. The front desk staff are not slammed by huge numbers of people. …
I am always shocked when Vegas tourists don't know about this gem of a hotel. After a long day of desert heat and walking through countless casinos, the Vdara is a welcoming property that is smoke-free and incredibly luxurious. I especially got amazing service from Matthew at the front desk on my last stay here and it inspired me to book my next trip here as well (plus I convinced other friends to book too). I am always impressed by the rooms and suites here and I swear it saves us money to have a fridge so we can store leftovers and do a big instacart order for supplies rather than pay $3 a water bottle on the strip. We love to have the larger rooms as well compared to significantly smaller options in the same price range. Finally, I have only had positive experiences in terms of service here and will be back!…
Perfect choice! We could not have been happier with our choice to stay at Vdara. We loved the non- smoking atmosphere was great to stay in a casino free environment. Hotel was very clean. Our check in went quick and smooth. Cristal checked us in and she was so customer service oriented and took the extra time to get us a fantastic upgrade which absolutely made the stay unbelievable. Location is unbeatable and we were ver happy to find the walkway from the Bellagio to the Vdara. We will definitely stay here again!
