Had an opportunity for a 2 night stopover in Las Vegas in early February. Stayed at Vdara Hotel Resort and Spa. My favourite MGM property on the strip (along with ARIA). The hotel is modern, well appointed and the staff are friendly, helpful and genuine. This time I had an opportunity to experience their relative new CLUB LOUNGE on Level 200. It was a wonderful space, quiet and well appointed. For an additional fee you have private access to a tranquil space to grab a light breakfast, snacks, coffee or tea, cold beverages or enjoy an afternoon cocktail. Food was very good with different selections each day. The coffee machine was amazing and space was open and bright with quiet areas to sit, relax and enjoy. There are complimentary beer and wine in the afternoon (4pm-6pm) along with a nice line of antipasto, cheese and hors d'oeuvres. What is nice with this is there is a hostess that serves you your drinks...a nice touch. I had the pleasure of having Nancy serve me for the 2 days. Friendly, attentive and well versed on the wine selections. Thanks Nancy! The Concierge team at Vdara is excellent. Always available to assist and very knowledgeable on the Vegas and surrounding areas. Want to see a show, you definitely need to check in with Vdara Concierge team for the best info. If you have an opportunity ask for Edward - extremely professional and a genuine passion for the business and the Guests. Your first time to Vegas? Want a place that feels like home but close to great casinos and restaurants - VDARA is the place. I love it for the comfort, luxury feel without the large casino...but knowing I am only a 3 minute walk to Aria. Note that when the pool at Vdara is closed, the wonderful pool deck at Aria is available for Vdara guests.…
Nice alternative to typical Vegas accommodations---good for business travelers and meetings. No casino or smoking! Food options are poor but the Bellagio and Aria are easily accessible and have great offerings.
Great Place /Great value in Vegas. We have been to Vegas a number of times and didn't know much about this hotel-- our first stya at Vdara will not be our last! The hotel proved to be a diamond in the rough . Spacious rooms with a wonderful view of the Bellagio Fountain show. The staff was helpful and courteous. The concierge sservcie got us toip front row seats to a specila show we asked for. .. and the price was as good as anywhere on the strip with Top facilities.
Always enjoy my stay. Hotel is in the middle of the strip with easy access to other hotels. Food was great. staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Only wish the tub was big enough for two.
No casino makes this a quieter hotel. Also being on the more expensive side - this hotel doesn’t attract the super loud rowdy kids. But it is a bit expensive. 3 day stay with a couple of meals - $900.
